After feeding my mare beet pulp for about a month to get her weight up, she has now decided she doesn't like it. I give her 3 qts (1 scoop) of dry beet pulp mixed with 3 qts of Triple Crown Senior feed, then about a cup of

Last night one of our horses was standing to be tacked and suddenly all this water/saliva came
pouring out of her mouth as if she's just taken a sloppy drink out of a bucket. Our BO said that it is from her eating red clover, that under certain weather conditions a fungus grows on it that causes extreme salivation. She said it's not harmful. Has anyone ever heard of this? Our horse only ...
