HD Pulls Out of Myrtle Beach...
Published (2010-03-19 20:55:14)
Liz, I attended Bike Week in Myrtle Beach in 2006, 2007 and 2008. During those years it was just 180 miles from my home near Charlotte. I would have attended in 2009 if Myrtle Beach had not scared the manufacturers away thus eliminating demo rides except that year H-D. Now that we have moved to Georgia it is just as easy to attend Bike Week in Daytona Beach. Even in an off year with a bad economy Bike...

I would say No. But since there is a reserve price, I won't even bid on it. I've not been able to buy things in the past because a) there was no "auction" so the price never went up, b) the reserved price was never need, even though I was willing to pay more, without a counter bid the price doesn't go up. I wish these ebayers would learn and just have a start price that they would be willing to sell the item at....

Not turning over anymore
Published (2010-03-19 02:34:03)
First and easiest, check for loose connections then make sure you have enough battery to turn it over....new battery or safely jumping from a known good battery, you have to be careful if you jump it from a vehicle, the experts say the vehicle should be switched off. You already know the battery was giving you trouble, so until you can prove it is NOT the battery that is where I would suspect the problem lies. Until you are certain you have a...

http://i743.photobucket.com/albums/xx77/Hoppy_09/D SCN0281.jpg So I finally found a job after 18months of unemployment! I have had a wish list of things for the ACE for awhile and now the wife says I can start going thru it (slowly). So I was wondering what you guys thought of the list and if you had any advise on what to buy, where to get it, what looks good and so on. I have reviewed most ...

I have quotes from work and from the chromers, and I can make these rails. It will be $300 per set plus shipping (shipping will be about $15) to cover everything. The front clamps will be a little different from the cobra ones, they will use chrome clamps that look like the ones below mounted to a flat plate that will get welded to the tubes. Should look fairly nice, not quite as clean as the ...

So today I went to the garage where I keep my T and tried to turn her on and she wouldn't. It sounded like she was trying to turn over but then nothing and after a while it was sort of a ticking sound. I recently changed the battery to a sealed one and she was starting great. Its been a week since I started her and its been very cold here. Could this be the problem? I didn't want to keep ...

Okay, so in my search for all sites connected to Honda I found that other forum, HondaShadow.net. I went threw the registration and waited for the activation/confirmation email. Never received it. Nope, not another bike...it's a Kala mahogany concert ukulele, direct from Hawaii. I promised some friends on Facebook that I'd video my first playing experience with it (I've never played uke before). So here's the link to what is probably the worst uke playing you've ever heard...LOL! Apparently I have no problem embarrassing myself to please my friends. Hope this makes you smile!...

Recently in one of the motorcycle magazines I get they had a write up about Motobatt batteries. Amazingly they do make an Absorbed Glass Mat T shaped battery. It is model MB16A. Its specs are impressive. 17.5 amp hours of capacity and 200CCA. This compares favorably with both the stock T shaped HYB16A-AB @ 16 ah and unpublished CCA and the maintenance free option that only fills the top ...

I know this topic is almost as volatile as discussing politics or religion, but someone on made a point that made sense to me. He said that cagers in
California are accustomed to knowing a motorcyclist will be lane splitting on the Freeways when they hear loud pipes and in that sense loud pipes save lives.
Do you Californians agree?

I installed my new clearview shield (+ 1.5 grey tint ) the old stock one was beat. Question is my old shield was cut around the top of the turn signals and the new one hangs down bellow about 2". Driving home I almost dumped the bike in a parking lot trying to do a tight turn. The shield got hung up in the crash bar limiting my turning radius to a few degrees in both directions. Is this normal ...
