for the most part any custom header, or any ebay header is not going to be "street legal." the ones that are "street legal," are the big name companys like DC, Greddy, Ect.

It seemed like a good night to take some shots, so I killed some time and went to the local parking garage. Couple different things with the car... let's see if you guys can notice. hehehe.. can you imagine the trouble we would get into tho.... I thought using the back and sides of a screwdriver was a dirty lil secret. LOL! I use my roller on the large flat pieces but for filling in the contours and all those little pieces, a screwdriver with a smooth back end is PRICELESS! p.s... my future son-in-law wants to learn the electronics from me, but is so A.D.D. that he drives me crazy sometimes. That and he is on my sh** list...

Theres 3 bolts under the hood, 1 or 2 underneeth the bumper cover where the corner light bolts on , 1 by the pillar and 1 by the bottom of the door.... you'd have to open the door all the way to get those 2 though

Only way to tune an ATTS equipped model without losing the ATTS is via a piggyback. At the top end you have the Greddy eManage Ultimate and AEM F/IC, then at the bottom you have VAFC, AFC NEO, etc.
If you disable the ATTS (best to remove completely if you are doing that to save weight), then your tuning options are the same as a base.

So after some research, and alot of input from some guys on here and on preludepower.com, i've decided to go for it, and swap a H23A Vtec( blue top) in my 98 base.
gonna try and keep it pretty simple, nothing crazy or really even close to being a "full" build. but heres what i'm doin,
Jdm H23a Vtec (Blue Top)
-Balanced Crank
-12lb flywheel, also balanced
-Stage 1 clutch (thinkin EXEDY)

Well, looks to me like you have a good budget to deal with. My opinion, bag the mono amp and rears. That 4ch will be plenty of power to run the fronts (the ones that count) and the single 13w3 VERY well. I don't have a lot of experience with Kicker but from what I have seen they are pretty good.
