Now I am no Rossi. Not even a Hayden. But I can hold my own on track day. I just can't see a 900 breaking 180 with a naked horse jockey in a vaccum going downhill with NOS. Or maybe I am not that good. Idk. I try to learn something new every time I hit the track. But the engineering and physics of this seem incredible. No offense 1999cbr. Nothing but love to fellow riders and their exploits. Keep it safe.

Published (2009-11-25 20:40:00)
ya I spent 3 years at Ellsworth AFB and went to Sturgis every year 97-2000. The first year I went was awsome then by the time I left the rules were getting ridiculous but itt was still a good time. I have a few friends I still keep in touch with and a couple at the base also. first time I went over 100 on a bike was in the black hills. I got the crap scared of me to. I came down a hill and a gust of wind hit me hard sending me to the other...

They changed the Superbike class from 601-750cc to 800-1000cc for the '04 season so I had to replace my GSXR750.
I wanted a GSXR1000 but couldn't find one and the 929 came up at a crazy price so I grabbed it.
I haven't seen any difference in build quality or resale value with Honda over the other Jap manufacturers.
One thing about Honda that does annoy me is their propensity to put pointless ...

White smoke everyday I just bought a 2001 cbr 929 and it smokes everyday when I start it until it warms up. The smoke is white and pretty moderate. I checked coolant(no oil), oil(no coolant), and FPR. The exhaust is not sweet and just smells like how exhaust should smell. When the bike warms up it doesn't smoke at all even when riding.I'm pretty stumped. Thanks in advance...
