Warm, 73 and sunny today. Chance of a thunderstorm this evening. I repotted my hibiscus yesterday as it was root bound and then I caught the hose on its new container and dumped out some soil. Now I need to buy some more to fill it up. It has new blooms today so must be okay. Have a good day. Wannabe

Just wanted to share a picture of a humming bird nest that is at my mother-in-laws house. She has a wind chime that hangs outside her livingroom window and every year for the past 3 years the hummer has raised babies in this nest. Liz takes the chimes down in the fall so the weather doesn't harm the nest and then hangs it back in the spring. The hummer adds to the nest and starts her ...

Are my fellow Texans and those in Louisiana,Alabama, Mississippi and Florida making preparations for 'Gus'? Looks like it will be a direct hit on LA west of New Orleans and the Texas coast.
