I used to use a receipe very similar to yours when my children were young. We called it 'Playdough' and I divided the dough up into seperate pieces and then added a touch of food colouring to each so that it could be made into shapes just like plastercine. We really enjoyed making little ornaments and decorations with it. Ahhh the memories!!

Mums hold memories for you and certain flowers hold memories for me as well. I have grown mums in my flower garden a few times and they are fun to do. A few years ago, I grew some and the rabbits got in and ate them to devistation. I have not grown any since, but I still greatly enjoy seeing the mums that others grow. There are some remarkable ones available. It seems that every year or two more exotic ones appear on the markets. Lovely...

Fascinating place DB, I would enjoy soaking up the sights there. Thanks for the virtual tour. I liked the idea of a fountain-activated bell.

I started a dinosaur quilt for a grandson back in the spring. It's sitting in a box now waiting to be finished. I made him a dinosaur tote bag for Christmas. All of our family are getting tote bags or aprons for Christmas. It's something that I do.

69 and sunny, lawnmowers whirring across the prairie but I'm letting the wildflowers go dormant before I mow again. Watered everything so far, day's pretty open (shock!)

I wouldn't have picked any of those mushrooms. I don't recognize a single one of them. Brown-hatted mushrooms are very difficult to ID, and there are some extremely poisonous ones that could look like edible ones.
The best way to learn about edible mushrooms is to either find someone who knows a lot about them or find out if your garden society holds classes and join one....

Another fantastic weekend spent with Sjoerd and the missus, thanks for the adventure.
I did a google search for mispels, then had google translate the Wiki page. Very interesting. Since the Medlar is a member of the Rose family is the fruit similar to the Rose Hips that develop on some rose bushes?

So glad there wasn't too much damage to High Island.
Sassy certainly looks so happy playing on the beach. I shouldn't wonder if she dreamt of her trip or not -as I'm positive she did.

I don't use Facebook EJ, anyway, I would have PM'd you first to let you know what I was doing.
I hope you find out who the five are. It's good to know you're being wary of folks you don't know though as it could lead to all sorts of problems.
