Doesn't bother me at all. Anything that conserves on the power bill is good news to me.
I'd especially love having a TV that conserves on the power when the tv is actually off. I don't see that addressed in the article but I do hope it's part of the plan.

Tie I posted on another thread about the pumpkin shortage depends on the area but mainly it's because of weather/rain.
Canners mainly use squash instead of pumpkin for canned pumpkin (I know what your thinking BUT pumpkin is a squash variation and they mainly use a specific kind. Thinking the squash got a little wet prior to harvest.
