I put on some green beans to cook (we like them cooked long and slow) and promptly forgot about them. I will be scrubbing off the burnt remains for years, I am sure. Green beans seem to be one of those things that burns very easily. As to the burnt pan, I put dishwasher detergent in with hot water and leave it to soak overnight. People need to take responsibiity for their own health needs.
