Hello HR! In the past google says that stopwords is not relevant for position in serps. I made a test with a stopword (in), and the result was: - apartments in rio: 6 position - apartments rio: 9 position So, stopword are important or not? In my opinion to use stopwords can improve position in serps, right or wrong? Regards, Marcel

Hello -- I'm formulating an SEO plan for my company's entire web presence, which spans several sites in several countries. I guess my most basic question is this: does Google index pages according to the country in which the server that hosts the site is located and display the corresponding results pages on the different country versions of Google? Stated another way, for a site hosted ...

I've just noticed that one of my affiliates ( link exchange) has no follow links in his site. SO, when a bot (Google for example) directs to his site, It doesn't follow the link? - example : site.com, So If the link is nofollow, then google doesn't follow it, So Google doesn't see this site linking to any other, So this way the other sites that ...

Hello there, I have a new client who ranked very well in Google until a site redesign. The new site has been up since January. The client did not use a 301 redirect from the old site (or any redirect for that matter). So my first thought was that the site was starting over from scratch. However, it's been 8 months and still no rankings. Please take a look at [site removed] and let me ...

I am designing websites for my office. We are a lawfirm and will be advertising legal services in each state. I am wondering how to design the site(s)? For an example we will have something like: Alabamasocialsecurityattorney Californiasocialsecurityattorney, etc. There will be 1 for each state. There will be significant State info to make the pages/sites different, ie, links to ...

Hey all...I noticed that an article I wrote just last week has turned up on some complete strangers blog (on blogger.com), word for word, with my name attached, but all the resources taken out. Should I even care about this and write it off as an isolated incident? Or should I get my knickers in a twist, and politely ask the offender to either add my links or remove the article. My ...

There is one website, forget which one, but you can do a whois on a site, and also view reverse DNS lookup, which shows all your sites on that IP address. I have like 10 sites on the same IP address, and don't want people to be able to see all the sites I own if they find out one of them. Is there any way to stop this? Also I guess Nameservers also give this information away. This ...

My site has a Blog and Forum (vbulletin based). The blog is located at blahblah .com/blog and the forum at blahblah .com/forums. I was thinking of making the home URL, blahblah .com, an 'option' page. Basically a page with 2 big banners/buttons (huge actually): 1 that says 'blog' and the other that says 'forums and message boards'. At the top of the page will be my site name. Underneath ...
