Good morning, everyone! It's another dismal, damp, dreary, drizzling day. Should be cloudy w/ a 30% of rain and, perhaps, a glimmer of sunshine late this aft. Overnight, our cats were angels. Maybe they understand us when we lecture them? Maybe their crate sitting in the kitchen was (is) a deterrent? Maybe cutting off their access to my office sent a message? Not...

Overnight, our cats were angels. Maybe they understand us when we lecture them? Maybe their crate sitting in the kitchen was (is) a deterrent? I believe it was the crate, they remember it well, We have a crate for our cat, and if I bring it up from the basement, she will run and hid. Thomas Grant me the courage to change the things I can.

I've heard the horror stories about state hospitals too. My precious daughter was put there after that bad therapist screwed her up so bad. She said she was terrified all the time and was physically attacked once by another patient. She said the staff didn't care what happened as long as no one was killed. We're both so lucky Tink to have men who know us so well and still love us. LOL!!! He can see when I'm ready to lose...

I'm runing in slow motion too Tink. I haven't got anything done yet today. A dear friend of mine called this morning and told me she got hit by a car. She was walking across the street on a green light and a car ran the red light and hit her. Than goodness her injuries were minor, but just the same it must have been a horrifing experience. I haven't seen her in months,...

I have some friends coming in this weekend that I haven't seen in a LONG time... they can drink Adding my own words to this sentence. They can drink but I "choose" not to drink because I am working on a new healthy life. For me it was all in the mind. And do not fear a WFS meeting. We're not having a traditional meal this yr., as we opted out of spending the day w/ my father, his wife & my extended family. His MIL is very sick so, instead of hosting this year's meal, they are traveling about 2.5 hrs. to her home. The same will probably occur @ Xmas -- another holiday usually spent at my father's home. I'd like to add this, as it took me many years to first accept, then love myself, for the woman I'd become. Although I knew there was no cure for Bipolar Disorder, I wasted years longing for the day I'd wake up to the same LISA I used to be -- the woman who, prior to my breakdown (in 1995), had a great life, fulfilling career, was never home, but always on the go, loved to shop, had no ...

Weyr, I'm impressed & t/u for starting the a.m. OP. While I had diff. physical complaints, I requested an MRI of my brain; instead, a CT(?) scan was performed. It included placing many electrodes on my head/scalp, forehead, etc. Once the electrodes were in place & the wires hooked up to them, the scan began. It took about an hr. and was pain free. Going over the scan w/ my neuro. doc. ...
