Here I go again. Just 2 weeks ago I traded for a nice, mint Mesa Boogie Rocket 4 amp. This amp really kicks some serious butt. It loves SCs as well as Humbuckers. The cleans are nice and smooth, nothing like Fender but very cean. The OD goes from creamy to ferocious at the turn of the volume knob on the guitar. I really like this amp. It's definately a keeper. Here's the crazy...

I've been looking forward to playing one of these new Les Paul Axcess models since they were announed at NAMM. My local GC finally got one in stock last week so I had to try it out. I love Les Pauls, but I'm not a traditionalist. The Axcess is like a "super strat" version of the LP design. Lots of tweaks, to the point where this really isn't a LP at all.
