I guess this would tend to knock the "mainstream media in the tank for Obama" complaint down a notch. God bless Helen Thomas for taking Gibbs to task. In my estimation the toughest job is the WH spokesperson. Regardless of party they are sometimes left to sweep up a mess they had nothing to do with.

A wheelchair-bound gunman's fitness to hold a firearms licence is being investigated, but his family say he was a good person and loving father who overcame adversity. Shayne Sime, 42, was shot dead by police on Sunday after firing more than 100 rounds from his Christchurch home, wounding a policeman and a neighbour and hitting buildings including a preschool in surrounding streets. Its tawdry and we should leave this type of behavior and the approval of it to the leftists and move on. What happened to self control and shame these days? A lack of character means not only making poor choices when nobody is looking but being selfish in wanting to stay in office and without shame by allowing all of this tawdriness to surface and not be ashamed. This clown has got to go....now. - brickboy240

I currently store my ammo in military ammo cans, but can't find any now in decent condition and can only get 500+ rounds into a can anyway. Additionally, I store it and the overflow in the factory boxes in a walk in closet upstairs just stacked on the floor. (this is good for temperature control).......However, I live in a rural area of TX and we depend on VFD in the event of a house fire. The ...

Hello all I ended up with an XD "accidentally." I already had a Magnum Research .45 and was looking for something for my wife to carry. When the owner of the shop where I was looking at the XD took over a hundred dollars off the price I decided I couldn't lose by buying it. Either she would like it, or it would be my alternate carry gun when the .45 was too hard to conceal. Well she thought ...

I'm posting here because I can not find ANY info anywhere. The background: I got the gun about 6 months ago, but every round would take three hammer strikes to fire. I fix that by getting the wolf service pack and replacing every spring on the gun (the hammer spring was the problem child). The gun works flawlessly for months! Then I lost the firing pin and the spring in the woods ...

I was wondering if anyone could explain why the .45 is able to hold one more round than my .40 service when the .45 is a bigger round. It doesn't make sense to me.

I can't seem to find a thread about this, but if there is, I didn't see it near the top. Either way, call your reps. This will amount to much higher energy costs and costs of goods and services all around. The test vote was close. Don't let this go through without calling your reps. I have heard reports on the radio about reps voting in favor of this even with overwhelming calls calling for ...

I'm all about stopping gun violence by means other than taking them away from law abiding citizens. I think we all want a world where gun VIOLENCE doesn't exist. But man, some of these nutjobs have it all wrong... Taking guns away will do what folks? We all know this one! Take a look at this site. Scares me a bit to say the least... OK, I finally have the list compiled for the blems/returns/seconds. There are about a dozen belts and about 50 holsters. 65-66 items all together. Here's the terms, everything is sold "as is" no returns, period. I will still honor the guarantee for form fit and function, but no "try it free" and no warranty on appearance, scratches etc. Most items are in G or VG condition and would be...

Had three young folks come in today, two of which were picking up their pistols they had purchased last week and the third was a friend of theirs looking at a pistol he was interested in. I'm sure most know this, but it's nice to see confirmation Quote: WASHINGTON Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder.
