Do any of you ever just get down and scrub your carpet? Or do you rent a cleaner or get it done professionally?? Is hand scrubbing as good as renting a machine?

Good morning!! This is the 'official' sign-up for the blender buy in. Although looks like we have enough people already! - I have taken Bonnie's 'interested' list and posted it here. I was thinking that we would get approx. 16 different fabrics. I will try and select an equal number of mediums, lights and darks. I will figure out the price and let you all know. Hopefully by the end of the ...

Do any of you ever buy "fabric scraps"? I saw some for sale for ten dollars for 3 pounds. Is that a good price? I have no idea how much 3 pounds of scraps are.

Is there a pet friendly mulch or ground cover instead of beauty bark? Or is there a specific type of beauty bark that is pet friendly? We have two dogs that will occasionally be in that specific area of our back yard. Thanks.

When you hang shirts on a hanger in the closet do you have the front of the shirt facing toward your right or toward your left? I am in the habit of facing them to the left...thinking they will be taken down with the right hand. My husbands cleaners does it the opposite way so he has shirts facing both ways in his closet. Is there a right way? Does it depend on if you are right or left handed?...

Are there any plumeria lovers out there. I have a couple trees but I am looking for more. I haven't found a grower in the Augusta or Atlanta area. Does anyone know of one? I lost several trees when the power went out last winter. It got too cold. I am attaching a pic of one blooming. I adore the scent of this one.

There seems to be new interest in the 4-patch stacker/posie quilts. I know that many on this board have made them, some with shadows, some with plain sashing, others fancier, and some with on point settings. This is a simple method of making a quilt. Let's show the newbies who are thinking about it, what they can get with this pattern. If possible, show a photo of the fabric before the quilt ...

Hiya Everyone, I am pretty new to the boards, so most of you may not know me. I'm a Kentucky gal transplanted in Australia presently, and have had a request from my DH to make a quilt for him in a wildlife print with the easy attic window block (Thanks Omma5) anyhow, it is very hard to find wildlife print here in Australia, and I have ordered a few small pieces off the net, but that was really ...
