You won't be able to turn them off. Coolermasters LED fans are very quiet though, AKASA's aren't. Sharkoon Eagle/Golf Balls are good quiet fans on the cheap. Dust filters.. well you can always do clunks trick and uses tights cut out to fit lol

Do you have another system to test the drive in? Plug it in and see if it's recognised. Also try running chkdsk /r. If any bad sectors are reported, get the drive RMA'd.

Evening all. I have the Sapphire PC-AM3RS790G motherboard and need some techy help. It comes with integrated graphics but I guessed that it would be in no shape to handle gaming so I also have the ATI 4890 1GB. Now my question is: Is there any way to turn off the ATI 4890 graphics card (ideally not by unplugging it or something equally time-consuming) and use the onboard graphics ...

Alright, with the heat wave that seems to be engulfing the country recently (or at least my part of it), and the fact that I'm currently in a pool of my own sweat.... I wondered if anyone has any recommendations for an air conditioner? I'm not looking for an entire system to be installed, just a small(ish) portable one, reasonably priced and preferably not too noisy. Don't let me ...

Hi guys, My 500GB Spinpoint is currently on it's way out ($Bitmap errors, or something) so I think I need to replace it, I'm not sure what with though? I've seen a 1.5TB Samsung EcoGreen for £70, but obviously it won't be that fast, so I'm thinking of having that to store data, and then something else to store my OS/Games on? The 1.5 will be used for data (Films, Pics, Data, ...

Hello, Long time reader first time poster I want to get some info on my rights and what to expect when I return faulty goods. I've dealt with overclockers.co.uk many times, their prices and ordering service are great. Their handling of RMAs...terrible. I've had to return quite a few things and it's nothing but trouble. My latest incident is my Logitech Z-5500 sound system. It ...

Ok, here's the plan Next Friday (03/07/09) Clan iGi will run a private server purely for Hexus members. It will be primarily a night of 'Domination' however without ranks or limits. We will be running Mumble server for VOIP so you'll need to download that. Depending upon numbers we'll sort squads out on the night and then get properly stuck in. This will be a n00b friendly night, ...

Hi all, My brother has a old ford fiesta around L reg i think. The problem is that the mirrors in the wing mirrors not the mirror housing keeps moving when he is driving so it makes it impossible to see and makes it very hard to drive! Does any one have any ideas how to make the mirrors more stiff to stop them moving about? Cheers

On a "no news is good news" basis I think I qualified as a teacher of mathematics today I wont know officially for a week or so but it all sounds promising. Well, it's been released over in Germany and so far there's a couple of bugs but there's patches out addressing the issues already. ACE Mod support is already in place and will be released shortly. For those of you that like the battlefield sim kind of thing the end of June can't come quick enough I'm sure! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNV8UbzA9UM

Those members ( NOT mods/admins/staff ) who come on here day in-day out & offer their help and advice, for no nothing, no thanks, no glory, just because they can. So, I put it to you, the GD readership to nominate & say a big thanks to the unsung heroes of Hexus! (no prizes are inferred or will be given, just Kudos...
