Currently using Outlook 2007 and hate it. Its so slow over outlook 2003. I am looking at getting a quick way to get my emails but also use the outlook features such as addess book and calender. I am looking at Gmail but I can't find out if you can actually download your emails to your computer, into a simple program or something.. cheers

My neighbour has asked me to take a look at her computer. The computer didn't boot into Windows yesterday -she said it mentioned "something about a corrupt file". The PC now boots into Windows fine. I ran a test on the hard drive a Maxtor PATA 30Gb drive using Seagate SeaTools for DOS v2.07. The basic test passed fine but a long test passed AFTER repairing over 100 errors. Whilst the hard ...

Download HERE A new Unigine-powered demo is available for download. It shows dynamic sky with light scattering, live water, real-time ambient occlusion and a lot of other modern technologies. The demo works with ...

I am currently in the market for a new 22" monitor to replace my huge old CRT which is currently hogging my desk. I have had a look around and it seems like the LG and Samsung monitors are the best value for money. I have a budget of anything up to £250 with a DVI connection and I do not really care about any extra features i.e. speakers, usb ports etc. althought stuff like that is always a ...

I recently purchased a Digimate L-2442WD monitor, and I'm having a few problems. Basically I need help to decide if it's the monitor at fault or something with my other hardware/settings. I run windows in 1920x1200 (the monitor's optimal resolution) with no problems; the fun starts when I try to run a game at that resolution. The screen starts to flicker madly and a huge number of horizontal ...

I spent the last week taking a lot of photos, more than i usually do in one go - hey i'm not a professional, so 700 is a lot to me. In that lot there were a fair few different types of pictures. A lot were portrait type shots, i tried a bit of stellar photography (minus a telescope i'm sad to say) a bit of macro and a bit of landscape photography (though the lake district was more for that)....
