Like you I have been keeping an eye on this one and saw some video docs on the in game tech and whatnot, I also saw some footage months ago, bu wasn't sure if they were going to acheive that level in the final game, the demo pretty much exceeded any expectations I had. This is a must buy for me and seeing as it's the same engine used in the GRID series, I can't imagine how good the next version of that game is going to look...

Visually, this is quite possibly one of the BEST looking games I have EVER seen! Absolutely IMPRESSIVE! Excellent lighting, textures, water effects, and...without a doubt...the most impressive damage modeling system ever seen in a racing game. Be sure to set the damage to "Visual Only" to really see what it's made of! As for the gameplay? I don't know...I haven't gotten past how good...

d2_s, on 19 December 2009 - 08:00 AM, said: Also noticed that the new transfer kit installs some extra demos, XBLA games, themes and a 1 .7GB video on your HDD during the process. Free XBLA games or free demos? And wouldn't those games & 1.7GB video mean MS bothered to put 2GB memory chip in a simple transfer cable kit that was FREE? Are you sure your 360 didn't dl it w/o you noticing?

I don't have the UPC, but they were Sunbeam. I got them at Menards. I couldn't find any LEDs at any of my local Wal-marts. It will say LED on the packaging. Menards had more LED than just Sunbeam too so I know there are more out there, Phillips is a big pusher of this tech and they make a lot of them too. If there are no Menards stores in your area I'd bet Home Depot would have some. I couldn't find shit at my Wal-marts...

Super Street Fighter IV...
Published (2009-12-21 03:08:00)
For those who missed a Street Fighter game or two, and would like to see the new old fighters in action: Really looking forward to this one now. I hope they do extra fighters as DLC. I'd be happy to pay five bucks to play as certain extra characters. If not, than the 10 new ones should be good enough.

Terminator Salvation
Published (2009-12-21 02:27:00)
Saw this tonite. Not good. The entire original Terminator timeline premise was hinted at throughout the movie, and never addressed directly. These time loop movies always fascinate me because the main characters are always horribly pertrified that time will be changed and something awful will happen in a world that does'nt exist for them, and there is absolutely no way for them to ever know if it did or didn't. That's just so...

I haven't played the demo yet as I don't have a EU account, but I have been keeping a close eye on this game. It looks to be a huge leap from the original judging from the vids I have seen. Haha, the menus is pretty unique. I kind of like it. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=1GiHiAvOOSQ Nice graphics http://www.youtube.c...h?v=1Cp6l0ylNqg

Published (2009-12-17 17:07:00)
Quote You gotta hand it to this kid's parents, who managed to turn up their boring old Christmas lights to 11 and into quite the Guitar Hero homage. It's not the first time we've seen Activision's franchise mix it up with some Christmas lights, but it's certainly the most unique and inspired. We've embedded the video past the break so put on your favorite Rudolph sweater (the good one with the blinking nose you...

I finally got to play the demo today. Visually the game is fantastic with terrain and details that are all but photo-realistic yet move briskly and without a hint of tearing. Control-wise, you can immediately feel that the physics engine has been revamped and the cars no longer pivot on a single axis. Where the game falters for me is in the presentation. I absolutely H-A-T-E the grungy interface and noisy music; its a step backwards from the...

QUOTE (Mister Y @ May 24 2009, 11:56 PM) You know, I don't really get all the hate this movie is getting from critics. I thought it was pretty decent, miles ahead of T3. Only part of the movie that irked me was the ending. It's no Star Trek for sure, but it's definitely better than the other summer flicks that have been released so far. Even if it was really to have 1000 cars, would we really have any desire to play as half of them? Correct me if I'm wrong, but last time I checked, nobody was creaming their pants to race a Gremlin around a track against other 100hp cars! I especially like how the "Over 60 tracks" has already been confirmed to be <20! LOL

Nah. I'm too creeped out by how much she looks like Sarah Palin. And why the glasses??? Who gets into big fights while wearing glasses? Actually, I can't get into 3D fighting games very much. 1-on-1 is still great, but not the free roaming ones. They were my favorite back in the 16-bit era though. (Gotta love Golden Axe & Streets of Rage.) Maybe I'm just too old fashioned to...

I've been seeing people on other sites bitching up a storm about this. It's all about people modding their XBoxs to play downloaded games. It clearly states in the Live terms of use that if you modify your console you run the risk of being banned from Live. People can still use their XBox, just not on Live. Anyone that mods their console runs that risk and knows from the start that it can get ...
