QUOTE(f-cat08 @ Nov 20 2009, 10:31 AM) I'm aware of that. If your state dosent have inspections nobody will ever know though. Playing the system I know but if your happy with 13 mpg then just leave it alone. If not take the risk You guys dont have random DOT inspections on the road or vehicle inspections of any kind? some states just amaze me

QUOTE(Markymark875 @ Nov 16 2009, 10:47 PM) Keep reving it, past that limiter, its new, tear it down the end of 1 year, and I guarantee you have some loose valves. Mine is a 2006, raced every weekend, my valves are just now finally getting out of spec. Ive seen it happen so many times at the track, these kids over reving them, dads pissed, new engine time end of season. Why over rev anyways? you loose the torque and power...

Doubt the thermosat band aid. If the head gaskets were going, and putting compression in the cooling system what would a t-stat have to do with it, and how could that possibly fix it? I don't think they would be band aiding them, being they have 100,000 warranty on the motors. This post has been edited by Skinz : Yesterday, 08:28 PM

QUOTE(Crazy8T @ Nov 19 2009, 09:44 PM) Seen multiple sets of ford injectors go long before that. Actually have an 05 with 155,000 in the shop right now with 3 bad ones, or sold I'm told. It took it about 10 miles of driving to get it up to speed on the way down to the dealer, after letting it warm up for about 20 mins. Thats a 6.0 though, Ive seen those go at 30,000.

QUOTE(zee ell @ Nov 18 2009, 05:10 AM) A new government study came out yesterday to recommend women wait until 50 years of age to get the first mammogram and then every two years after. This is a change from the prior recommendation of 40 years of age and then every year. Now this comes at the same time the govt wants to take over the health care system while critics cry of ...
