I hate car insurance. I was considering saving up for a new PC until I saw how much the insurance on my new car costs. I was close to tears.

QUOTE (Darke734 @ Nov 25 2009, 11:57 AM) Burton is my favourite shop for clothes. They occasionally delve into crap fashion too, but for the most part they sell generally excellent stuff. Apart from shoes. They're bad at shoes. Tompan and Burton peddle the same stuff really...so if you like that you can go to Topman [a few months earlier] and buy the same stuff double the price...

H&M are pretty cheap, although they have a scattergun approach to stocking the racks.

I've been looking to start playing Harmonica myself, And I did a little bit of research on YouTube. The most commonly suggested beginner Harmonica I found was a 10 hole C Diatonic harmonica. Maybe as guitarists we'd be better off buying one in G/Em. Theres plenty of videos on YouTube for people learning, From holding it to bending notes. Am I right in the harmonica I'm suggesting first of ...

If you want reverb, you need a multi effect, not just a distortion pedal. I have a Zoom G2, which is great in the bedroom through the practise amp. I have a Boss ME50 which does everything I need on stage.

Check first if the firewire/usb cable you use isn't dodgy, I had a certain episode yesterday when attaching a firewire loop to my macbook. Check the differences in activity. If your hard drive isn't hooked up to your computer and you turn it on, it should just create a soft whirrrr as it's fan powers up. If your hard drive starts rattling (and drive lights flashing indicitating ...

I have found a way to record the audio off youtube. But it sounds real thin. I take the headphone jack off a speaker and have a 1/4 plug to headphone jack plug and plug it into my Gnx4. It records very good. But my problem is when I convert to mp3 it loses some bass and becomes thin and tinny sounding. I tried to overdub it several times to no avial. I don't know alot recording. Is ...

There's one in a pawn shop that I could get for about $150. I know it's a hybrid, SS preamp and tube power. But do they sound good? I'm not expecting much on the drive side, but is the clean good? I can always buy a tube preamp pedal and put in front of this if need be. I just want to know what these amps are like from people who have had them. ,...
