Chilli Chocolate. I know it's existed for ages, but all the chilli chocolate I've tried before has been a tad nasty tasting and in no-way properly spicy. During my 'http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapevine/season-taste/making-my-own-crunchies_41462.html' experiments I added a couple of home-grow chillies to some molten chocolate and formed it into a bar. I inadvertently added way too much chilli (including the seeds)....

...Ginger, "would you like a flagon of ale wench, tis thirsty work this script writing, how about some of snowdrops nuts to nibble on while your at it???" The mood in the Gardeners Rest was light hearted to say the least, the three "F's" were the order of the evening...friends, food & frolicking, mostly frolicking. There was a debate going on round the big oak table as to what sort of Christmas...

Peaches under protection will need a paintbrush to brush the pollen from one flower to another - accompanied by an encouraging buzzing noise (no, only joking) for pollination which imitates the action of bees. (Or, Brengirl - a rabbit's tail on a stick).

Had an Artificial tree for years, its in good nick and I will continue to use it until it becomes too tatty.
Real ones look nice but are expensive every year. (In my opinion.)

I found this one pretty useful when I was starting: Cooking Basics (Hamlyn Cookery): Amazon.co.uk: Books (And it's from £0.63 in the 'New & Used section!)
It contains a load of good recipies, whilst also including sections on how to make stock, white sauces, butters and different ways to cook an egg.
I also found this one quite good, although I don't think I've ever had a cookery book...

I'd just stick with that title- you are then 'loaned out' when he doesn't need you.
Too many bosses and you'll be clashing with yourself- and probably doing more than a full time job in the same time period.
Congrats by the way- it's brill when someone recognises your skills- well done!

Taking inspiration from Twitter (which, quite frankly I've lost interest in), can we take it one stage further and rather than using 140 characters, can we each post one word that creates a conversation when strung together.
If a sentence reaches a natural end, then that poster uses a full stop at the end, and the next poster starts a new conversation.
A little like word association, ...

I used to be affronted when men offered me a hand to get, eg, into a boat, off a big step etc etc but was told off for it and it was pointed out that the guy is nly trying to do something nice for me. So now I say 'thanks very much' and accept a door held open for me, and I will also hold a door open for a man. Nothing to do with being the 'fairer sex', it's just good manners.

I do a bit of part time work transcribing from audio tapes for Consultant Physicians and I am always uncomfortable when they dictate "wont". I never type it, I convert it to "will not" and not one of them have ever insisted upon it being changed back. What do you think all you grammar gurus?

I usually gently melt real chocolate in the microwave. A few seconds at at time once you've broken it into pieces. It's very easy to burn or make it bubble- bit like Aero- so just stir it loads and loads.
The nice thing about Crunchie bars is that they don't use cooking chocolate.
I'd be tempted to dip smallish pieces in the chocolate- turn them over to set- then give them a second dunking....

Goodness! How worrying and stressful for you and the family...
Glad she seems a bit more normal now. Maybe they should change the colour of Calpol so it's not pink - maybe a lime green would help???

It's raining here - and OH is off on a jolly. He has 2 clients over from Malaysia and they wanted to see the sights of London Village; including a trip round Chelsea Football Stadium [No idea what the ground is called], so he's gone off for the day. Taken my car [for effect picking them up for the hotel], so I'm in his today.
Did I mention it's raining, what a day to be wandering round ...
