> Sanyo users, I created an icon for the Easy Street navigation software. Not sure if anyone else created one, but you can download it at: http://rapidshare.com/files/249366935/Sanyo.ico.html Unfortunately, I don't have an account with RapidShare, so only 10 downloads are available. Osprey, would you mind including the icon in the next release? Thanks.

The things Im happy with, the features that this unit does not have that I was used to in my 760 (but really dont miss), things that Im not fond of with this new unit (hopefully will be modified in a future software release), and finally a listing of what I consider bugs that I...

> A few months ago, someone mentioned a fix for a similar problem. I think that he said to connect the device to USB and reset it while it's connected. I recall him also saying that it took him a few tries or something like that. I don't know if it's any good for your problem, but it's worth trying.

Everyone, Welcome to the new thread. The other one was getting long (over 400 pages), so a new thread to coincide with a new, major release seemed in order. As you've no doubt noticed, I've decided to graduate MioPocket to v3.0. This is based more on it simply being the biggest release since v2.0 and it being about time, rather than it being radically different than ...

My wife's iWay 350 screen has gone funky in that it does not register correct touch location. For example, pressing one letter on the keyboard results in the selection of a wrong letter. I've tried to recalibrate it, but no lasting joy. Any suggestions or ideas? Chuck

In at least 20 markets Google is using AirSage for traffic flow. AirSage uses Sprint/Nextel phones as probes. http://www.reuters.com/article/pressRelease/idUS14 0402+23-Mar-2009+BW20090323 The coverage from AirSage is beyond impressive especially if you check off (and apply) 'local roads' although there are areas they ignore that may be just a matter of building ...

Thanks for reposting. So it seems like the GPRS module is included in the device now or in the active car holder. No external HD receiver. Not for the US, true, but oddly enough Fuel Prices are only available in the US as per the European press releases ;-)

I seem to be very dumb when it comes to hacking my Sanyo 4370. Could create7 give me a pointer when ever I try to load miopocket it gives me the error message that it cant find mobilenavigator.exe. If you reference my post earlier it explains the steps I have taken but I cannot seem to get any further. Thank you.

Hi Neadrenalin, I am going mad with my nuvi 255W. It started rebooting continuosly after it went off while booting (battery was almost dead). I tried the rgn 2.80 (ID 827) but now it boots into the screen calibration mode. I tried using the 4.60 file but didn't help either. How can I at least get it to work as USB storage ?? Now I can put it into "software missing" ...

TO ntldr, I have been told by MIO support that you have no much to do and you need to send the unit to MIO repair. Otherwise you can ask your dealer to change it or to ask for your money back even.

KahKev, Thanks for the new topic, Good idea! I have a 4250 with MioPocket and Igo8 running. So far, I'm installing new software the hard way, by removing the SD card and inserting it in the computer and then back to the 4250. I know that there is a better way to do it, using the USB connection but I'm not sure how. Please advice. JayB

Good catch, what's up with the .20 numbering tough ;-) They would normally be Navteq Q1/2009 maps... I'll reuse the NT2010 "header".
