if its rc it doesnt matter,if its Lh,theres semi circular cuts in the ends of the ring,that fit around the round stud in the groove.

go ahead with the rung change,get the .005 gasket.
billet mani's help keep the cylinder heat away from the carb,seal better,look trick,and never warp or deform.

make sure the groove is clean too.
line up the post and ends of the ring in the ring groove.
get a little oil on your finger ,wipe it on\around the piston and inside cyl
dont force it,and you can squeeze the ring ...

If I get a pipe, appx. how accurate is the top speed increase? If it says the pipe will add 3-5 mph, why would it be between 3 and 5 mph and not just 5 mph or 3 mph?

need to make a nice stainless steel bracket to replace the
trial piece.that white allum piece was just a gauge for the finished
piece i'm making.need to put the original forks back on
it'll have front/back suspension then.(hvb2 frame)
