Why are some people consistent?...
Published (2009-11-06 14:09:46)
My friend is very consistent because his backswing tempo is always the same speed and motion from the 1st hole to the 18 hole. pre-shot routine helps too.

Don't like the G15's Didn't like the burners. I like cobra's and I got my L4V for very cheap. Try get a L5V if your looking for the best you can get from those three brands. OR Get a Nike Sumo square headed driver if your looking for distance. they're been longest on test with a load of reviews. thats just my opinion though.

At that age too much golf = losing interest, in my opinion get her playing a variety of sports, its proven now that kids should not specialise in sports at a young age, but should take part in different sports to not only increase enjoyment but to further develop the child's all round coordination etc.... so play 9 holes, but try tennis, football, running etc etc so that she does not ...

1) golf isn't about the length you get on a particular club. 2) one session with a new set of blades isn't enough to tell you much of anything. Same with a newly acquired driver, or putter ...... 3) post again in a month or two and tell us how it's going

I knew their swingweight was more, but the overall weight feel light, at least to me. I think it was in this forum where I read that it's better for the swingweight to be the same for all of your clubs for consistency. If that's the case, why would/should the wedge be a different swingweight than the others? I've hit some Mizuno irons at Golfsmith and am slowly coming around to ...

Interesting. That would be a skill that requires some practice. I have hit some half hearted driver shots, but never thought to try and gauge my backswing for distance, say, like I do with my wedges. your a 4.1 and Im a 17.3 so you must be doing something right :)

In 2009, definitely my driver. Average drive of 280 yards. Hit about 85% of faiways. Hopefully this keeps up in 2010. Need to work on the short game, 100 yards in.

As a 12.3 I think its time for you to give up mulligans. Unless you're playing in a charity tournament scramble and have bought them. The free stroke or two can really sway your handicap in the wrong direction.
