So sorry to hear about your friend's dog. That just happened to a friend of mine a few weeks ago, and I'm still in shock. Please pass on my condolences as well.

Thanks Hank! I love to build stuff, made my wooden jumps but as all have said they are cumbersome to transport. I will look for the parts and pieces at our Home Depot tomorrow. Happy, thanks for posting the pictures!

2) People post their funniest caption for the pic.
3) After 10 posts, the person who posted the pic declares the winner.
4) The winner of the previous pic caption posts...

That's very exciting about getting a puppy!! I do have a suggestion, though, and I know many others will chime in with the same advice, but try to get the puppy AFTER the Christmas season. Getting a puppy is a lot of excitement and work in itself, and having Christmas excitement added in... it can be a bit much.

I should avoid this topic... I should avoid this topic...
The Republican or Democratic platform should have NOTHING to do with abortion. Somehow they have tied themselves in with the religious right, much to the detriment of their party.
And don't tell me abortion isn't healthcare. Don't tell me you know more about my abortion, my pain, my loss, and my experience than I do. Don't tell ...

I have 3 dogs: Gus the Golden; Charlie Brown, the Chocolate Lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix; and Ace of Base, the insane Black Lab mix.
Gus is the first dog I've ever had, and apparently now I can't stop! (Well, actually I can stop or my husband will divorce me!)

Gus is named from a character in Lonesome Dove, and we have talked about continuing on in that vein--Woodrow, Newt, Deets...Po Campo (just kidding!). But all our other dogs have come pre-named for us.
