Running on concrete is bad, bad, bad for any dog. Blown pads are just the beginning. I'd definitely look for a grassy field somewhere!

It looks like a great day with the girls. Laughed at the one of the butt in the air, must have been something great smelling under the leaves. Hope your work gets better.

I think ACC is exactly right. If you looked at the number of UNIQUE visitors to any thread, I think you'd get a different picture. But the fact that a lot of people read and respond to the PD threads indicates that a lot of people, on either side of the fence or just plain sitting on it, have a lot of concerns and questions right now.

All dogs deserve the best possible shot at long-term health, and you don't get that when you don't do all the clearances and when you aren't able to look at multi-generational soundness and temperament. Supporting BYBs who go on a dog's general health rather than on the hard data of joint and heart evaluation is simply irresponsible and all dogs (especially Golden Retrievers, of course) deserve better from us. It's...

My Bama was like that. But with my chow hounds I have here I have to pick it up if he doesnt eat it. So now he has learned to eat as soon as it is put down. You might try that. When they have it down all day, they just graze off and on.

Goldens are big and hairy... They make your floors dirty. You will be cleaning in all of your off time. I had a golden for almost 14 years and we would say to our guests before serving a meal "don't mind the Mitchell hair, it's a condiment in our house".
It's almost impossible to keep up with the hair that comes with owning a golden. With that said.... Our house is empty without Mitchell and ...

Maybe this doesn't apply to you. How many employees do you have?
Lots to work out still with this bill. I really don't believe it's going to be a bad thing for America. Change is tough but I think we're all going to be okay. More than okay, we're going to be better.

I think they are wonderful, sweet babies, and I love them! Loyalty second to none! Very one person, devoted, intelligent dog. However, I have seen many nervous, insane American show lines ones, so it would only be on a case by case basis that I would consider one of those lines. I would always select working lines and German lines, and preferably long haired (just because they seem even more ...

OMG he is sooo darn cute! Look at how skinny that poor boy is!!! I would love to be a foster someday, once my goldens are older and more stable. Really breaks my heart to see animals like this. I'm sure the older woman meant well, but I suppose she really couldn't care for these dogs much. She may have been sick for awhile. I wish you much love for taking this boy in!

1) I'd love him/her exactly the same.
2) I'd invite the friend in, offer something to eat, tell bad jokes the same as with a straight friend.
3) I would be ecstatically happy that my child wanted to share Thanksgiving with us, and that I was alive to see it, and do my best to treat his/her partner like my own kid.

Our dear friends, Luci & RockNRoll Lucy came over last night with their new puppy, Lucy ! Before you scroll through the pictures, let me just add that pictures do not do this adorable little furball justice!!!
Molson was pretty excited to have his new friend spend the night, but was up half the night whining to get out of our bedroom and continue playing with her down the hall! haha...
