Actually I do not subscribe to the conspiracy theory in that it would involve actual thought. I think the end result will be the same. Congress and the government have never actually shown how to create a cost effective program in anything, anywhere, anytime. They know the definition of the term 'cost effective' ...

Very interesting.
I heard a similar story from a former pastor.
Back in the 80s, in upstate/upscale NY. He was in his office at his church when a man came to the door asking for money. Pastor Bob said they had none to give the man, and he started shooting. Bob took at least one .22 to the head, and several to the body; the shooter ran off.

You are very thoughtful today.
The case of Maj. Hasan clearly proves that even a psychiatric professional cannot determine when somebody is about to become unhinged and do something extreme. That's based upon my assumption that he had colleagues who he worked with on a daily basis for some significant amount of time. Or did people notice but decided that he was a credentialed mental health ...

Usage makes all the difference. If I use my Tilt as a phone and nothing more I get about four or five days out of it. If I turn on and use all the bells and whistles (WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, Video, etc...) I can drain the battery in about six hours. On average I go about two days, phone and 24/7 internet connectivity, but try to charge every night just to be sure it is there when I need it.
