If there is enough clearance try welding a ss allen in the space you stripped. In the few cases I've had to do that it's worked most times.

If the dealer jacks you around open a case with Suzuki of America and they will take care of you.
Give the dealer another shot at it before you call and tell him about the recifier issue as they prob have no clue.

I agree, he should have contacted you before doing the repair. Why would he fix the pan you sold him when he could have just fixed his old one ? I don't know all the details,but something doesn't compute.
