You might want to weigh the pros and cons....driving a half hour each way for satisfaction you know you'll get vs the time, energy (and emotion) you may have to invest in dealing with a new

I think the right layered cut could be fantastic; I'd suggest finding a couple of cuts you like and taking pictures of the styles into your stylist, to see what he/she thinks. ;-)
