I think Majora actually has less time travel stuff than Ocarina. While Majora has you bopping back and forth through time, every time you go back the three days everything you've done is erased. If you're looking to actually have an effect on the world, Ocarina lets you do more. That's not to say which is the better game. I personally hold Majora as my second favorite Zelda, right behind Link's Awakening.

Quote: JonCole : For the CastMedium podcast, we actually use Skype to communicate buy Audacity/Garageband to record locally. That way, we can clean up each recording and isolate particularly bad sections to edit out. It sometimes sounds a little bit edited together, but I'd take a little more artificial sounding rather than really scratchy/lossy sounding. Out of curiosity do you guys mix them individually or all at once? Wrestle if you...

I completely agree. Although I only played SNES, N64 and NDS versions. I don't like the powerboost stuff in the NDS. I do like the tracks in the newer versions, there are quite some nice ones. The battle mode is still the best in the SNES version, it has the best arenas. There is nothing as fun as driving into a lane and seeing 3 greenshells coming right for you and then jump just in time over the border to the next lane.

Hi!
I think about this a lot too. As I've said, enough times that I'm starting to feel like a broken record, the biggest single limiting factor on the expressive range of most games today is that so many - even the most magnificently constructed of them - are about the Shooting or Stabbing of Faces, on both the metaphor ("Pretend you're shooting people in the face") and simulation ("We ...

Man, Mario Kart for the SNES never struck my fancy. I don't have this problem anymore, but that Mode 7 thing it did, with the rotating moving plane? It made my eyes hurt, eventually giving me a headache and nausea. You didn't have that problem to this extreme, I take it?
As such, no fond memories of Mario Kart SNES! Mario Kart 64 though... Mmmmmm.

I apologize for seeming really opportunistic, but I think you'd do pretty good checking out a website I write for called CastMedium , where we do weekly recaps of lots of video game podcasts.
If I had to make a few quick recommendations, I'd say you should definitely check out the Giant Bombcast, Drunken Gamers Radio and A Life Well Wasted, which are some of my favorites among Idle ...

So, this is out (or will be soon). Any expectations? I wasn't really looking forward to it, but now I'm hearing they've basically just improved on every flaw of the first one. I was always going to buy it, but now I'm that much more excited to!
