I think you answered your own question, you just have to decide what is more important to you. 1. If you want to play by yourself but with easier controls, use the PS3. 2. If you want to play with friends, use the Xbox 360. I have both, my PS3 is a blu-ray player and my 360 is for everything else.

There are like 92 achievements in that game. 2 of them are odd numbered points, so avoid them if you don't want to **** up your GS. Other than that, don't attempt for them, you'll get a bulk of them during the game.
