This release was issued today: IOC AWARDS SINGAPORE 2010 YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES BROADCAST RIGHTS SingTel and StarHub to become the official broadcasters within Singapore for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010. Chicago doesn't fall into the same category as Manchester & Birmingham. The 2016 vote was more of a message of; "we're not interested in the U.S. at this time". The USOC even "informally" polled several IOC members during the domestic process & Chicago favored really well. One Italian IOC member was even quoted as saying "Chicago is America's 'Second'...

hopes this gets thrown out of the window faster than usain bolt's 100m. the ruling was clear and staright forward. what don't they understand. i wonder if deedee coradini is again behind this? i've said it before and i'll say it again, why is she pushign this when vancouver is about to host the games? why didn't she push for this before salt lake city hosted?

Now that Delhi lost the 2014 Asian Games bid to Incheon, Korea, what now for the city and its preparations for the 2010 Commonwealth Games? Was the very preparations for these 2010 Games one of the reasons the 2014 vote tipped in favor toward the Koreans?
