Jeep will be going after the Honda CR-Vs, Escapes, 'Noxes etc. As the presentation says, people want the "impression", most won't...

"Lifestyle Brand"???? SPARE ME! This is what any manufacturer of consumer goods says when they can't think of anythng else more concrete. A pointless platitude that sounds good. It means everything, and at the same time nothing. I fear for the future of Dodge.

The temp gauge in my car is always spot on with the radio or news. Perhaps the sensor came off it's mount and is more insulated from the temp wherever it ended up? Seems unlikely, but I could imagine it. Either way, being a brand new car I would just bring it in and have ...

1) shift into neutral.
2) connect your seat belt.
3) gently steer into the wall, once contact is made, crank the wheels towards the wall.
(if there is no wall, drive into the dirt/grass on the shoulder. Aim for bushes, not trees.)
4) while waiting for the tow truck, leave a steamer on it.
as opposed to:
1) panic
2) die.

Although a nice article, clearly the last thing Buick needs as it changes
its image is a new Roadmaster.

ONLY 5,000 COBALTS WERE SOLD?
GM had better un-delay the Cruze.
Volkswagon moved more than 4000 diesel units in October. Shouldn't GM at least consider a diesel vehicle?
Saab car sales down 82% to 299 units. How are the dealers going to hold on until next April for the new 9-4x and 9-5?

Outstanding - I like it.
GM needs a strong & sharp presence just like Mr Lutz to keep an eye on things over there although obviously that means we lose some to all efforts by him here.

I awaited the MKS EcoBoost until December 2008 when a decision had to be made, and it was for another vehicle. At $56K, the Lincoln is way over priced as a simply superlative E550 is available for similar exchange.
I have not driven the E550, but have a 09 CLS, it is simply the best luxury sport sedan I have ever owned! Smooth seemingly eternal power, precision, and vault-like quiet--all in ...
