My Asrock doesn't have one. Other than WLAN and WiFI for laptops I really haven't seen a lot of mini PCIe cards. Edit I stand corrected, goggle finds lots of them. Martin

I'm not going to get to this tonight like I planned. I'm on hour 16 working and I have about 2 more to go, then get a few hours sleep and start again. It may be day after tomorrow before I get to it. I'm fairly certain the PLxII is working though as you mentioned above. And I didn't mean Central Time, I just had a little down time last night.

Yeah a lot of people didn't like that (tied to telecom) but I guess thats how the cookie crumbled. I think it's stupid that ondemand content is not available to non telecom customers as all. I think that's a silly move. Yes tcom could have put in 0 metering, but the others should have had it available as well. But oh well. So yes the content is still SD, I assume HD is going to come (HD streaming is only just hitting the states...

Martin, I'm also able to see and hear the ts file on my PCH-A110. So also this is better now. The only little problem I see now is that the SKIN on my 16x9 PAL TV is slightly bigger than the screen. Durring the installation I have choosen for 576. So if you could give me a hind to increase the skin a little I'm very pleased. Kind regards, Richard Meijn

AMD has gotten much better about explicitly supporting the AGP versions with current drivers. They've finally listed the AGP version of each chip on the driver download page, rather than making you hunt for it in the knowledgebase or forums, though the driver itself is still a 'hotfix' version. The driver is current, Catalyst 9.10.

I don't think GBPVR recognizes the "." numbering format (i.e "4.1") in the guide. You will see that you cannot change them in the channels tab of config (change to 4.1 will not take either). I think you want to renumber like this 1004:104 then you should see your Digital channel EPG at channel position 104.

I should be able to help. Compress and post your GBPVR logs after you try and play a TS file and I will have a look. I'd also you to telnet to you PCH and type this command cat /tmp/dumpts.txt and copy the screen output into your message. Martin

I can see some pch activity happening in the morning, after that 8 am time when the recording server has given up (or stopped reporting I should say). Could that be doing something to the recording service? Although I see the pch start up at 8:17, which is after the 8:01 mentioned in the recording service logs.

H.264 channels, particularly HD ones, are pretty hard on machines. To get decent preformance you pretty much need a based nvidia 8500/8600 or newer video card (or similarly new ATI card like 4650 etc). You also need to be running Vista or Win7 so that you can get DXVA 2 acceleration.

I've been using Media Center with dual cable card tuners since Vista was in beta. For cable cards, I love it. My other tuners are committed to GBPVR. I personally can't knock MC because I rarely use it for my 'normal' tuners but it has worked like it was designed for me. I think it's got a DRM anchor on it's neck.

It looks like your channel mapping for One has the wrong video PID, so you'll need to rescan and remap that channel (maybe setting it to 'none' as an intermediate step).
