Problem updating EPG on SBS
Published (2009-11-21 21:19:00)
It looks like there is some text in the EPG that the parser doesnt like. If you create c:\temp directory, and set <SaveDvbEpgXML>true</SaveDvbEpgXML> in config.xml, then try updating the epg, them zip and attach the c:\temp\dvbepg* files, I'll take a look.

FFMpeg - GBPVR/PVRX2 - GBPVR Install Error - ? I'd like to put this one into GBPVR Install details...

you tried winlirc with those codes? not sure how to translate those codes into something useful elsewhere.. there are pronto files available for this one [same as dct2244? or dct2000?] tho they would have to be converted, they are the best bet as far as clean codes.. if you can get winlirc working, that would be easiest if you haven't already tried...

Lock up & skip on playback
Published (2009-11-21 22:12:00)
I have pretty crappy recording quality on Prime as well, also depends what tuner it comes off. Has the odd skip etc. Mine is most likely reception problems. And like you live tv is fine. I think live is a bit more tolerant of bad signal.

I cheated, knowing how few people seem to read the documentation forum I asked for 10 votes when all I really wanted was 5 Thanks ACTCMS your vote counted! (Well everyone actually thanks) Would still love to have some new users comment on the following attached as well as everyone else, well, this is a democracy? These were the first things that came into my mind, not looking for explanations and meaning here, yet, just what have I missed?...

SUB, Thanks again for trouble shooting this. Oddly enough, I never notice it when I was looking at the database and XML file (not that I would've known that they were suppose to match). I can only assume that Zap2it changed their format since I only started looking and playing around with the database yesterday. So the name field (CHANNEL) in the database must match the first occurrence of the display-name field in the XMLTV. The second...

I just checked and Googles Movies stopped working for me too. The layout must have changed and ICL's RegEx must be tweaked accordingly.

when waking from sleep to do a job, it assumes noone's there so it doesn't turn on display, and the emulated keystrokes could be programmed, so it knows could still not be a person there....but a real keyboard key would *have* to be hit by a person, so it wakes...

The IconDirectory is a config.xml setting so it is possible to point this anywhere you'd like. If the image isn't found there it is hard-coded to look in media\Country for the flags.
You could point config.xml to your skin folder and work from there but I'd also copy all the files from media\RadioLogo to media\Country first.

Hello,
do you have the same channel lineup on each of the tuners ? I think you should have three tuners from your comments above but I'm only seeing two in the logs, (unless I can't count)

Only the recording service needs to be active. The tray utility is really just a quick way of launching config, pvrx2, viewing tuner status and restarting the recording service. You can remove the tray icon from your Start Menu's startup folder if you don't want it autostarted.

In this case, it looks like you've deleted one of the directories that is created when GB-PVR is installed.
If you recreate an empty "C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\Media\ChannelLogos" directory, the error show go away.

it will change resolution etc
and load the correct resolution on start up
or you can define custom resolutions/refresh rates
have a look
" power strip" is a program to run when you cant get the resolution you want helps with stutter etc
or in your case when you have both pal (50hz) and ntsc(60hz) programs

Did you make the required C:\ Temp folder? It doesn't matter that GBPVR is on the H drive.

It looks like you've got DVB channels setup in those logs (since the logs appear to be showing you retrieving the DVB-EPG).
Have you previously had it working but its now stopped, or some more detail to this problem?

I'm missing some channels (like MSNBC) that are available in HDHomeRun QuickTV but not in GBPVR.
How do I get the same channels that are available on HDHR to appear on GBPVR?
