According to coreftp.com it can handle both SFTP and FTP over SSL/TLS. Since we support SFTP over SSHv2 only and not FTP over SSL/TLS at all you can just test that it works. If it works now then the dropping of SSHv1 will not affect it as we don't support SFTP over SSHv1 now.

Hard drives - how full is too full?
Published (2009-11-23 22:46:00)
The archive drive is unplugged when not actively doing backups, exactly for this reason. I run all my anti-infection scans before I run backups - again, to protect against transferring unwanted stuff. I do worry that my active backups are not unplugged, since that partition is on the same drive as my media partition. We are shortly going to be adding an NAS media server/central LAN backup, but it's not in production yet. I know that will...

Strip HTML from mailing list...
Published (2009-11-26 21:33:00)
Thanks, Bruce. I think I've found a workaround, at least for a moderated list: each pending message could manually be edited (via FTP or the CNC) to remove any HTML encoding. That allows production of "clean" text-only digests that all email readers can view as a single in-line message (rather than as attachments that must be opened individually) -- which is the way every other mailing list software issues digests. And...

[Moved from Web Design forum] Hi, guys... Having an issue with div stacking on a client's site... The dropdown nav menus are ducking behind some of the content below. I've changed parentage and rejiggered the z-index for a couple divs, but I'm on a Mac and can't test it in IE. I'd like to know if it works correctly in IE (6+, I guess) before Monday, when we're hopefully going to launch the site. Not posting the...

It sounds like you already have an existing database elsewhere that you wish to transfer here. I would suggest creating a mysqldump of your existing database and then importing it. Hello, Probably experiencing propagation. Whenever you change a domain's DNS entries or register a new Domain there is a period of propagation that will last from 24 to 72 hours on average before the domain name will work properly. This cannot be sped up as it is not in the control of any single entity. More about propagation can be read here: http://Service.FutureQuest.net/kb7...

Based on what the defrag programs say, you should have at least 30% available for them to function (for a regular use drive). For a archive drive, if it is fairly unfragmented when you get past 30% available, I would fill it up to about 90-95% of capacity. Also, if most of the archive files are archive files, you could compress or zip them to conserve storage space. John
