My cams were set to +1 degrees on each cam using HKS cam gears. I did rev it to 9000 rpm's but the housing is choking it off up top so going to about 7800 is all thats worth reving to unless I am avoiding the shift to 4th at the end of the traps. This was one of the first runs so it was slightly leaner, when I bumped the fuel pressure up it made a little more power as mention 461hp. I have the .78 twin scroll housing. Geoff has...

Don't forget to add a quart of oil and prime the system. The thermostat is going to be closed so make sure your oil cooler is filled prior to it opening on a run... I was wondering why by 33 took so much oil and forgot about the trust deep sump. If you change oil often, I would suggest adding a T fitting with cap to your oil cooler to drain separately.

240sx s13 Oem Lug Stud size?
Published (2009-11-20 16:27:00)
I assume S14 and S13 lug stud should be the same. My stock ones are 40mm and I bought Nismo 70mm stud running a 5mm slip on spacer. the only problem with longer studs is that when you buy another set of wheels with the proper offset you will need to convert back to the 40mm or buy OPEN END lug nuts.

That is definitely a unique way to approach the distributor/CAS situation. All of the RWD VVL swap I've seen on the net has the CAS facing the firewall. It looks good and I hope it'll work out for you.
On second thought, if you went though all that trouble of adapting the distributor to the front why don't you try to fit the CAS while you're at it.

Looks to be a pretty nice build, would maybe be a bit laggy.
1. I would reccomend Vi-Pec ecu, me and several friends of mine run it and are very satisfied. You can even get it as a plug in for most sr20 vehicles.
2. I have no experience using that turbo myself, so I couldn't tell you. I guess the limiting areas would be detonation and stock block rigidity. When you are aiming for such ...

even if it was a dual airbagged 1995, NHTSA would not allow it because its not in the specified year range. The air bag is not really the issue, NHTSA closed the door for a reason. The time to change the petition was early 2006 when VCP 17 was rescended and the new one enacted. That is my 2 cents but I wish you the best of luck.
