The bottomline for my father

Quote from: Kate on December 04, 2009, 10:09:12 pm Other than hunting and gardening what does your father love to do? I'm sure we can find people for him to meet that share his passions. Grafton has an advantage of having a good group of people living there that want to do there own thing. The nice thing for your dad is they are not all a bunch of young guys fresh out of school. We actually did hear from a few people. IIRC, there are still a few FRN's out there with freestateproject.org on them. you're gonna get in troubleeeee! hehe nothing wrong with that

Party @/For 10,000?
Published (2009-12-05 02:20:00)
Ok, I've heard all the arguments, and generally agree. But how about this. Hold the celebration on the State house lawn on 4/20. I'm thinking we can make this a celebration of every great act of activism since mover #1.

Name one "DJ" that has half the musical genius of just one John Bonham, let alone a f*cking Jimmy Page! This thread is basically over.. and it's going to go right to hell I'm sure.. Quote from: swamp_yankee on December 03, 2009, 09:03:24 pm That's not worthy of a response. You sound like a naive amateur. Ah! 'The argument from intimidation'. I first learned that in the 1960's at Ayn Rand's feet. Talk about naive? You are way over your head here Hannity SW. Also, as a 9th generation true Swamp Yankee, I object to you're using the...

Wow that's a bad situation. Can your wife drive, does she work? If it looks like there is no way to stay above water with just the money your wife is making and there is no way for you to get a job soon you should start looking for a cheaper place to live. Even if it doesn't seems big enough. It's better to be living in a cramped space and getting ahead then an "ok" space but ...

Hello Free-Staters! Welcome to the fully updated, 2009 edition of the now over 111 Reasons to Move to Keene. Please see http://move.freekeene.com for the most current version of this list! A lot has changed in Keene since this list was originally published in March of 2008. As of this writing (04/04/09), it has now been just over a year since the original list was released. Since ...

Quote from: Keith and Stuff on December 03, 2009, 04:37:13 pm Another reason As far as I know, Keene is the only town in the world where most of the pro-freedom related book are enhanced with pro-freedom bookmarks/flyers at all (both) of the public libraries. Of course, this may not always been true, but it is right now. This has been going on in the Seacoast recently too, at...

I live on 18 acres in Winchester, in the extereme sw corner of the state. It's up against the 21-square mile, undeveloped Pisgah State Park. There are many large acreage parcels available for sale. The land is about 25% evergreens, 75% hardwoods. The hardwoods are a mix of Maple, Hickory, Beech, and Oak...with more beech and hickory than i would have guessedwhen i first looked at ...

Quote from: kyfornow on November 24, 2009, 04:01:59 pm I was trying to do an analysis on the total taxation on my income, to demonstrate to my dad and others the extent of force on wealth by government by living in Kentucky. Here is the list I have come up with thus far, so if anybody can think of any I might be leaving out before I show him the numbers, list them here. I think I...

Welcome! Have you looked at the Statement of Intent ? Quote from: creodor on Today at 11:13:17 am Mostly just wanted to say hey, how's it going, but I'd also like a question answered. I've seen a few comments by people that out of state resumes are essentially useless. Does this just mean sending a resume in from out of state? Or would my resume be useless even were I to go in ...

Quote from: maxxoccupancy on November 13, 2009, 03:34:21 pm Seabrook is an excellent location for recruiting because it is right on the border with north shore Mass (Ron Paul's highest vote tallies in Mass, actually that is not true. District One (far Western MA) had the highest vote total for Ron Paul.

The economy is going to change the partying scene. When mommy and daddy look at their dwindling investments and mortgages larger than the value of their homes, they are not gonna come across with ticket money that pays for these events.

Some developer here in Seabrook took advantage of some state law on conservation, paved a road through a large lot, subdivided it, then turned into conservation (not the same as current use). He got more money from that than he would have by putting houses on the subdivision. That's not quite the same issue, but it's the principle of the thing. I still support current use (basically...

Jason Sorens, the guy who started the project lives in Buffalo NY. He'll have to answer for himself, but I don't think he has much assets here. Also NH was chosen by a vote of participants over all the other states in the union. I believe Wyoming was a close second. I don't think many of the people in the FSP currently in NH have too awfully many assets here yet (I certainly don't...

Christmas pool parties. You may never adjust. Just run with the weather. People get depressed because they psych themselves out, but its okay and kind of novel at first. Crisp Thanksgivings and white Christmases are beautiful. Whene the snow first falls, it is something to behold. It can be gorgeous. It only gets to you after the Holidays. Once you get into January - March that you ...

I don't believe the Bush Administration had to prove that Iraq harbored terrorists. Only that Saddam had violated UN Sanctions, and evidence that Saddam was willing to pay suicide bombers.

Quote from: maverickthree on November 18, 2009, 06:17:17 pm In theory the libertarian economic model is a good one, but in reality it is doomed to fail. And that is for one simple reason---you need a society that is totally ethical and honest, and that is CLEARLY something we do not have. The libertarian economic model says that if a product is a good one, the public will buy it ...
