Hi,
I'm writing you about the feature code *1. I setup all the things as you wrote about and it seems to work fine. i can record calls pressi *1 on demand, but when it's an outside call
incoming it starts to record the call and after a coupl of seconds it hangs up, no matter if the recieving extension is part of a group, a queue or standalone. for the outgoing calls no problem at...

I'd start with matching up the number of channels you have on the line with your config.
You
state: channel config: 15b + 1d
but you have:
bchan=1-23
dchan=24
set in your zap config. I'd set them to:
bchan=1-15
dchan=16
and uncomment the switchtype line
See if that helps

We would need more information about your layout.
If you are trying to reach multiple providers you don't need to "listen" on multiple ports, you are making the connection. You can run multiple
trunks on the same port to multiple providers. If you need to route over specific interfaces (at the router or nics at the server?) then that is a routing function and easily done with ...

I haven't done a B410P in 2.8 yet, but if DAHDI is the new ZAPTEL, and the B410P didn't use ZAPTEL because it uses mISDN, it would follow that it doesn't use DAHDI either.
With that said, I haven't done anything with 2.8 that isn't SIP ot
IAX trunks, so I'm just guessing.

Agreed, I am very surprised I STILL have to go edit that file on a new install, when the fix is now
common knowledge.

Have you set up a "
catch all" inbound route with a destination?
If you want that particular DID to go somewhere, have you set up an inbound route for DID "6312846580"?
Also: "Received incoming SIP connection from unknown peer to 6312846580" indicates that it doesn't know who the sending party is, for troubleshooting you could turn on "Allow Anonymous Inbound SIP Calls?" in ...

Bonus points if it works on the cell network and wifi but defaults to wifi if online. and hopefully the provider doesn't
lock it down in stupid ways. almost gives me hope that someday I might get a cell phone.....
