Since admin sees the links and users dont it really does seem like a permissions issue. Are you definitely using the core upload module and does the authenticated user role have the "view uploaded files" permission? Are you using the public or private file system drupal setting? Also, you may want to check the file system permissions on the files and directories themselves-- though that would affect admin / user visibility of the...

dying community? facts to back up that assertion? I suppose thats why the drupal user base doubles with every release, because the community is dying. :eyeroll: want a basic site? consider static HTML or further explain exactly what the issue is that you are having rather than just make sweeping statements with no facts to back up the assertion.

there is a good video for doing this at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1suHskbL1pE and maybe a better one here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snTgcvR8bn0&NR=1 The wissywiggsy thing is for using different editors for different parts of the site. But it will use just one editor if you want. I have never used it yet because I just use FCK for everything. The installs are different.. the wissywiggy thing uses libraries for the editors,...

File Repository

IMCE allows this: http://drupal.org/project/imce The workflow will be that you allow your admin to access all file folders. After a user account is created, as soon as the admin tries to access a user's imce folder, it will be created automatically. They upload the files in there. Later, the user then logs in, goes to their profile, clicks the file browser, and can access only their own folder. The only downside is that the browser...

Upgrading... very basic question...

Every freaking change is traceable at cvs.drupal.org The project release notes describe WHAT changes were made though not exactly WHERE. If that's what you want, I'd grab both releases side-by-side and just do a diff (or you can diff against releases directly if you have a CVS checkout) ... depends on the actual question.

Module access link

You can add a javascript function to check it during input, but javascript isn't particularly reliable. The best way to do it is to check for invalid functions in the _validate function, and if you find some, set an error. This will return the user to the input screen.

this is the link http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/wysiwyg-6.x-2.0.tar.gz to the module that you'll need to place under sites/all/modules. when you extract it you shud get a "wysiwyg" folder. upload the folder in sites/all/modules then when you're done u can activate it under administer->modules

my output (what you see) is an empty table (only headers) for every error that is defined by sheet_wrapper. which is not good because i should have 1 table and 1 row for every error.

Your theme needs to go in sites/all/themes, not sites/all.

I couldn't figure this out either. Views is limited in OG. It only goes to the regular profile uid... which I don't want to use.
I know that drupalfun.com puts a button on the uid profile so people can click it to get to the content_profile but that is not good usability.
Anyone with suggestions?

After some further hours without success I have begun to analyze the Garland Theme just to know if the possibility exists to show secondary tasks. The code I found in the template.php file in garland is:

I second the invitation to come work on overlays! There are a bunch of individual issues , and I keep adding more, so you don't have to take on the whole overlay project in order to help. CSS gurus are especially needed -- there are a lot of little niggling layout-type issues. Detailed instructions on how to contribute are at http://drupal.org/node/610234#comment-2193282 , or feel free to ...

You can upload files for use with drupal via the core upload or cck filefield (added to core for d7) modules. Then you would use http://drupal.org/project/views for creating the file listing.

While tinkering with this I have come across a second problem.
I added fields for pricing when purchasing allotments of time for nodes in certain categories, i. e: 8 Hours, 40 Hours, 80 hours, etc. These field boxes are filled out only for services that allow maintenance hours to be pre purchased and used for any service of that type.
In other words, you can purchase 40 or 80 hours of virus ...

I can't believe my post was a year ago.
I wound up just using blank TPL files, page/node variables (listed in the theming handbook) and a css reset and going from there. For the admin, I use the admin.module so the backend is intact and ready to go.
It takes too long, in my opinion, to try and find the reasoning to negative margins and other grey area CSS techniques when deadlines are ...
