You need an aux to AV cable. one end looks like your headphone plug, the other end has 3 color coded plugs- ?yellow, red, and white. ?Radio Shack or similar has them. ?One issue- ?MS changed the color coding on their cables, so the normal coding is now wrong. ?the standard is yellow for video, and red and white for audio. ?If you buy a std cable, you will have to play with it to find the video output...

Are you sure it isn't set to 'all' right now?? If it's set correctly.... check your sync groups; the only way content?syncs when?you are in?'choose' mode is if you asked it to.? Your defined content will be listed in the sync group breakdown.

I am an Xbox 360 user and I definitely like having the shared friend's list but I agree with the whole toggle concept so that we can switch between the groups of friends who either have just Zune, just Xbox 360, have both, or everyone.? I wish that I could have more than 100 friends though.? My friends list on my Xbox 360 is quite extensive to start with anyway because I have my Windows messenger connected to it and my facebook contacts...

I'm not exactly sure why you don't get sound, but one thing you can do is go to settings for your device on the Zune software, then go to conversion settings. You'll have the option there of having the software sync videos for tv output rather than Zune playback (this is the default setting), as well as adjusting quality for synced songs

That should only happen if you attempt to use the same email address (Live ID) to create a new account; when you sign in, you should be able to use the Live ID. You also might try "recover gamertag" if that really isn't working. There's no way to close a zune account, but you can shut down the entire Live ID at accounts.live.com. Definitely sounds like a device issue, it could be that the hard drive is starting to fail on your Zune80. :( This error happens when the software tries to to send data to the device, but the device does not accept it, for whatever reason.
My only suggestion is to disconnect/reconnect the device...

Go to Bangladesh and smack some kids in the head maybe? Where did you buy the Zune? If you have warranty and a receipt it's likely that it carries through all the store's chains throughout the country if moving locations is what's stopping you from returning it....

to update you supposedly have to sign into your account through the software, preferably while your device is connected (I think) try that first the option to sign in should be at the upper right hand corner of the software UI

I've had problems like that before - in one instance, the file format of the video was correct, but the resolution was too big to fit on my Zune you might want to check your video's file description to see if it fits the max resolution supported by the device I think it's 720*480 or something...

Assuming you have the 4.0 software, go to Device (from the software) when it's plugged in, then select on Summary, then click on Cancel Sync

Call back and speak with someone else. I had a similar issue and spoke with them and was able to get credits for the tracks where this occurred. Sometimes you have to fight a bit for it, but it will be done if you are persistent. Also just as a reference point I've had to do similar things with ...

I would select Device in the Zune PC software - and check the Just Added / Removed options - it could be a song it doesn't like syncing and it's constantly retrying it - I have had something similar with Music videos I have converted to work with my Zune...

Make a playlist of the songs. When her Zune is connected, you can easily identify them. You can open the playlist with Notepad, but I think you could sync the songs simply by syncing the playlist. [note] File paths of the songs should be the same, or the playlist may not work properly....

when the software cannot find your files, it goes out to the marketplace and plays the previews. so, you have to figure out why it can't find yours... the usual culprit is that you use an external drive, and when you reconnected it, it came back with a different drive letter......

My old desktop ( AMD Athlon 64 bit, single core) has no trouble running the Zune software when it comes to processor performance (512 MB RAM makes it laggy though) Can you lower the display settings on the Zune software? ...only reason i can provide is the artist info it provides, and image quality is out of this world.
another is u dnt hav to buy the next gen of the device to hav a new feature. u can update the device instead of getting the next hottness that will eventually die out.
its all on u though.
