Republicans lose...again
Published (2009-11-22 19:14:00)
Yeah right, first and foremost it is nothing but a theory and the closest thing to this being put into practice in colonial times did not last. Which means it FAILED. If it had worked it would have lasted. And all attempts to put his theory into practice have since failed time and time again. That should be enough for anyone who is willing to face reality.

President Barack Obama is considering setting a provisional target for cutting America's huge greenhouse gas emissions, removing the greatest single obstacle to a landmark global agreement to fight climate change . The Observer has learnt that administration officials have been consulting international negotiators and key players on Capitol Hill about signing up to a provisional target at the UN global warming summit in Copenhagen, now...

General Electric (GE)

General Motors claims its new electric car the Chevrolet Volt can get up to 230 mpg in city driving. Unfortunately, in order to do so the car must first be plugged into the back of a city bus. I really do like General Motors. ;o)

LSU, OLE MISS in upsets
Published (2009-11-22 02:52:00)
boy, that was a tough way to end the game for LSU today vs. Ole Miss, huh? they had 1 second left, and instead of the LSU coaching staff being prepared to send in the field goal units, or else taking a snap and throwing a hail mary into the end zone, they threw the ball into the ground to stop the clock. only problem was, there was 1 second left.

Mutual fund managers make like a zillion dollars every year selecting stocks for portfolios that usually have a difficult time beating the general stock market. I believe that with a basic understanding of the stock market and some research in selecting a diversified portfolio of investments, non-professionals can be as successful as these highly compensated individuals.

well, I am a Niners fan, and our best years are behind us (Montana, Steve Young, Rice, Ronnie Lott, 5-0 in Super Bowls in the 1980s-1990s). so, I suffer like the Cubs fans, as I do not believe we do much this year. I love Mike Singletary as the coach. I despise our 10th pick in the 1st round, WR Michael Crabtree, who's holding out for a 7th-round money deal.

irishgreek, You are so right. Except that I fear the majority will get their health care plan through one way or another. For some reason they don't care about the elections (short minded sheeple?)

Vikings have gotten lucky this year. Niners outplayed them, until Favre bailed out the Vikings on that last second TD to end the game. Then, today, the Ravens kicker missed a very make-able field goal attempt. Having said that, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Still a long ways to go. Don't forget. Patriots went through entire season undefeated, only to lose the super Bowl a ...

Wow, those were tough questions I'm glad that they decided those who qualify can play football. I'm sure we all hate to see players who fail this exam play football. Maybe an open book exam would help.

Goldiec, I think that's something I'd like to go to school for too. Sounds very beneficial. I just don't trust the mainstreet medicine. One thing that makes me angry is the chemotherapy. Did you know that it's 98% ineffective? It's just crazy how much money they make on sick people. It makes me sick to just think about it.

I am afraid the right will be sadly disappointed if they expect support for their complaints.
America has changed a lot but there are still a great many people who consider respect and consideration very important and are not yet willing to throw away that for arrogance and disdain for the customs of other cultures..

It was the Pants On Fire Lies that did it for me.
If Palin was more honest I could vote for her.
She did some good things for Alaska like raising the taxes on the big oil companies and giving the money to the people.

He's visiting a foreign country and following the norms that their society expects to be followed.
What the heck is wrong with showing respect????
Get off your high horse of American arrogance and acknowledge that other cultures exist and have existed much longer than ours.
Show some respect for others.
