the same way you enter invoices that are paid with checks or credit cards. However, if you don't deposit the cash into your bank account, then create a Petty Cash bank account and deposit the cash there. Then you can enter "withdraw" transactions in the Petty Cash account and code them appropriately.

Hi MikeAW,
Try adding billing date and invoice number information on the receiving voucher in the billing information box. With this information, the transaction in QB should go to accounts payable and not unbilled purchases.
Freight costs should be added to the item cost to give a total cost for the item.

QB Pre Retail 2009 I set up price level for customer then we have a price increase can the price level automatically calculate the discount from the new price? I'm assuming that you have 2 separate data files. Go to File/Export/Lists to IIF and check off Chart of Accounts. Export the file and then open your other data file and go to File/Import/From IIF files and select your exported file. QB will add the chart of accounts to your new data file. Not sure what you mean. QB mac doesn't support multiple companies on the same data file. Is this what you are trying to do or are you trying to open a 2nd file and the same company keeps coming up
