See, I often get confused because Madman DVDs usually have adverts or trailers for productions licensed by FUNimation or ADV (except they're not ADV anymore) or whatever. And of course they don't make their own dub but use whatever one North America got. So I wasn't sure if they made their own DVDs; thanks for clearing that up for me.

Somehow I expected you to say something like that! I watched one of the OVAs and I thought it was quite well made. But then again, I can't handle characters of that age doing what they're doing.

I think somebody needs to come up with a new term for a show like this that seems more than just ecchi yet not quite fullblown hentai. Henchi? Ecctai?

Zero goes to the moon... and meets Haruhi The character animation is interesting for the attempt to retain the 2D feel on the 3D renderings. The shadows are there as they are obviously 3D, but the faces are left pretty flat. You can see the money in the CG, for sure. Should be worth watching just for that.

With all due respect, Bandai, WTF? As if 6 episodes a disc instead of a boxset with the first 11-12 episodes (the series is 23 episodes) or a complete series boxset isn't okay with you, you delayed the original intended release date that would've been in June.

By the 48-hour rule, it ended a day and a half ago. Based off your clues, is it spoiler[ Shinji Ikari from some version of Neon Genesis Evangelion ] ? I'm not taking the next character because I don't have any images to use.

I can honestly say, not really. At this point the difference between PS3 and 360 is negligible and really does come down to personal preference in game genres. I've been massively disappointed with Nintendo and the Wii but 2010 looks to be a strong year especially with WiiMotionPlus which make actually solve the fundamental technological problems that have limited the Wii thus far.

The real question becomes, is television itself becoming less relevant? Or, at least, television as we know it. I'm not suggesting people will stop watching on their traditional sets altogether in the near future, but there are just so many options now, and it's not necessary to sit down with the clicker and surf channels anymore.

From what I understand, it's expected that there will be 12 episodes from season 2 and 4 intervening episodes for a total of 16. So, it's not like they're going to have a whole separate show's worth of intervening episodes - more like on OVA (which it technically is, I suppose, given that the episodes only appear on the DVDs and BDs).
In any case, Darker than Black II is looking quite good...

I was disappointed to see Daphne in the Brilliant Blue on the Perishable list, but then again it is not a show for everyone. I liked it, but then again I'm an ecchi fan so I enjoy these types of show regardless of how original not original the show is.
