Tricks, Tips and Tidbits ----- Regarding Using the Site ----- [ Note: if anyone thinks they know a better title, by all means tell me. ] This thread was originally for helping people search for reviews and reviewers, but thanks to a comment by PetrifiedJello , I decided to expand its field of expertise a bit. Just a bit. It is now a general-purpose thread for putting any useful hints or tricks to help make using the site and forums a better...

Can't argue that. They could've easily gone for a hat-trick too, if there was no double G and something like Furious Fighters was used next. And then there's Awesome Avengers, Battle Babes, the possibilities are endless!

Hey, bigger isn't better. I think the atrocity that is Double G's should be proof. So, actually, Double E's could be a step up. It's at least better than XX which looks really dumb now that I know what it stands for.

In short this whole thread is for dvd sales/deals at several stores: Amazon, Best Buy, Big Lots, Deep Discount, FYE, Secondspin, and Wal Mart.
(I may add other stores as things pop up)
I figured this could reduce the clutter in Retail thread as well and maybe people could go find things easily by store.
Whatever enough of the details and on with the deals.

Macross 7 is by far a better show than ZZ. Not because it's better animated or more serious, but because ZZ does at least try to take itself more seriously at times.
The wackyness of M7 is a lot more like the fun of G Gundam, but like all of these shows, you're either going to LOVE it or LOATHE it. But the few songs for the first half of Macross 7 do get a little tiring, as does the ...

http://www.bellasara.com/ index_bs. aspx TCG's for girls are slowly emerging here, like the fairly popular Bella Sara franchise, whihc is pretty darned girly, centering on pastel coloured horses.

Aw, what? No more looking at ships?
Anyway, this sounds like a really good movie. As someone who still likes the original TV series after 3 viewings, it sounds like 2.0 lessens or eliminates most of the flaws in the original that people bring up. And while I'd heard 2.0 was going to be different, it seems like the " retread" aspects are all but gone.

I loved Sugar: A Little Snow Fairy.
I'm suprised to see a review for it though. I figured it was too obscure.

What does based on major intellectual properties mean? Original US stories animated as anime or producing anime based on existing manga?
I have some mixed feelings about this, if it becomes more widespread, given Funi's dominance. On the one hand, this may allow us to see DVD/BDs soon or at the same time as Japan, which is always nice (depending on how much $$ Funi invests as co-...

I just found out Tetsuwan Birdy Decode is directed by Kazuki Akane, who directed Noein, my all-time favorite series. I am ecstatic. He also directed Escaflowne, I believe, so all fans of that show (and I know there are many) should be all over this.
Sekirei sounds... just like every other ecchi show, to be honest. I really don't know why Funimation picked this one up. They probably ...

The best pen name belongs to Lupin III creator Kazuhiko Katō, who wrote under the name Monkey Punch.
As for the continuing debate on Western Animation vs Japanese:
Well (and this should be obvious to anyone with eyesight), obviously Western animation, and by extension, American animation tends to have a far bigger budget, and therefore the animation itself tends to be far better...

I must say this and this first.
For a while now, I've always had my urks with ANN, a lot having to do with encyclopedia, and having misinformation, but with reviews, I gotta say I'm sorry.
If it is something I'm interested in, I, which I bet a large majority of people, just straight to the grade, though if it's something I've seen are am a fan of, I'll read throughly.
Which goes into the...

If people stopped baselessly speculating about Zac Efron being involved in the Death Note movie, the chances of it actually happening would be much lower. Unfortunately, it appears that the opposite is happening.
