This next week is the perfect opportunity to escape all the jollity and old films. The astute sprinter will be in the workshop adding power and speed to their machine in plenty of time to avoid a late March panic for the first meeting. The intelligent and thoughtful sprinter will also be forming a list of New Year Resolutions such as:- My correctly completed entry form will arrive before the closing date. I will remember to include and sign my...

If you believe that then you also believe in the Easter Bunny, Father Christmas, Phil Steele's diet and Henry's Gentle treatment of very old Dougies. Could add Book soon for the Presentation Dinner.

I have recently sold my gsxr1000 racebike to return to an old jap...

I have been racing for just over ten years and have heard dave houghton mentioned on many occasions, but i had no idea that this film existed, I also beleive he held the elvington track record for quite a few years . I would be interested to know who broke it and when. more importantly however on watching the video i was speech less for a few minutes. Whether you have 200 bhp as was aproxiamatly the case for dave houghton or 600bhp on a...

I suppose I should give away my secret for starting sprinting . My 250cc Honda was no match for the Triumphs of the local police. Putting on my best cloths and having a haircut failed to impress the magistrates and I was banned for 18 months. A friend suggested I try sprinting and I was introduced to Jim Balchin from then on I had the bug. At the time Jim's Gold Star was competitive ...

A few from the National Sprint Association stand. Dave Massam's EMC Puch vintage racer. Dave Massam's Norton. The Triumph 500cc Vintage class racer of Simon Rees. I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to Dave and Phil (Paso) Steele for allowing Shakespeare County Raceway to be a part of their stand at the weekend.
