wet and muddy eh? tried draining the fuel out of the carby? good chance it has water in it... water wont mix with fuel, so it will sit on top (or is it underneath???) the fuel, and bike run like ****... try draining the carby first..

if you wanna hit some pretty big jumps youre gonna have to spend a fair bit, youll need one of the best frames, probs some mazzorocci forks, very good swinger and shock, also gotta have very good peg mounts so all up probs like 5000 -6000 mods only haha

I'd thought of a cut and shut job on the trim but it doesn't look like it'll accept it too well. I have a mate who is a metal finisher/ chrome plater so i think i may have to have another look. It seems this may be a better option. I shouldn't have canned the idea so quickly but was sure the exhaust would be the better option.

Yeah alright its been like over night...like i remember doing it warmed up after an hour the other day like i could hold it there for awhile still warm...and now like unbearable...I need to get some feeler gauges so i can do the clearances... Thanks for your advice mate

it seems you are in the best location in the world to find that out... no one here has much to do with these bikes. and if they do they never get spoken about..
give akunar in Thailand an email, he should be able to tell you who to talk too..

its normal for the exhaust air to be hot.. youd only be able to hold your hand over it while it is still warming up, after that you wont be able to hold there long..
just to be sure you could check your valve clearances and check the idle mixture.

not to sure how many rod sizes are out there for the chinas
but you can change the deck hight of the piston that should get it to the end if the cylinder

Yeah mate there were a few replica pitsters getting around which are exact same in quality but they had the twin pot caliper on the front, different muffler and different oil cooler. This is one of the real ones.

eyy guys...can sumone give me a rough estimate of how much it will cost to get a crf50 and do the common mods.....suspension, bars, 88 kit etc im also kinda plannin on trynna do sum freestyle on it

Here's a couple of veiws of the oil cooler in place. a few simple brackets from the top crash bar mounts saw it in its new home...
Finally a couple of poser shots all together.
I still want to build a fibreglass main tube fairing which mimics the original but covers the air filter and carb, will be a while till it's done but will be sure to post pics of it when it's done...

your a bit behind the times dont ya think, unless your on a console collecting frenzy.
buy a wii and mod it and then you can run homebrew appz to play just about any early cartridge game console game..(n64,nds,sega,atari,mame...etc the list goes on)
you can even play original arcade games on it...
