Mate, you and me both... Before full time work / laziness I used to ride about 250kms a week and had no issues with fitness. Few years and 30kgs later.. rofl. I once rode into a car, was screaming down the footpath and a car came out of a high brick walled driveway, I hit the brakes and managed to wipe off most of my speed, ended up with my wheel hitting theirs side on, no denting which was lucky. didn't ride so fast after that, at least for a week muahahaaaaaaa I wish I still rode, would be much fitter. my 12yo self would whoop my ass in a 1500m race! for a start ,why do all those mods to run 10psi. you nearly could have achieved that figure with a cat and a tune. people that run the kit you have want to run 17-18 psi and your looking around the 350-370rwkw. that power for 10psi is prob on the money. :buttonit: I could be wrong, I am I missing something here.

I recently had a quote done for my fg f6 I have ordered and noticed that the piping for the engine and plenum where all in black or not polished when I asked for a quote they told me that recently there customers had been complaining of trouble from the boys in blue when they were pulled over. BF Foon all the way mate if it were me (and I wish it was!!) if you want to do mods, as there is heaps of stuff out there for the BA-BF, not so many choices for the FG (yet!) Long time proven performer too. On the other hand, I have seen people getting awesome numbers from the FGs without doing much at all!

Yes, this topic has been done to death. If you are going to mod the car to over 450rwkw, or your driving is 95% country, or you are going to circuit race, then go the manual. Otherwise the ZF auto is a no brainer. I have the BF with the ZF, and 3 other manual turbo cars. I'm in the same position. Warranty runs out in Feb and so far I have had around $8,000 worth of warranty work completed on my car. As the foreman put it "its worth getting mate, these cars do consume parts, it will pay for itself easily with one set of diff bushes or a new diff and you've got your monies worth. However, I was quoted around $1500 for the extra 3 years.
