Some players make brilliant suggestions which often can be simply implemented. Not a strong point but why do we need to wait until something has been suggested 1000 times or several years before they get in-game? It could be more understandable if we knew why FLS chose to implement things that appear of low priority to many players.

The best advice I can give is not to listen to all of the privateers who think they know how to play an NO. Go to a NO on your server thats considered tyon be good and ask for advice from him/her. 99% of the forum trolls are more wind than skill.

Yeah, it's easy to come up with ideas for really cool PvP scenarios. I truly believe the game would be so much with some of those, instead of just the old ad hoc battles and old old port battles.

Use a speed general instead, 46 offense is overkill. acc guns, trech 3 (mov turn in) and cantonese works fine for kiting.

Ramming should be implemented, and implemented in such a way that big ships do much more damage to smaller ships.

You know the timer that locks a 1v1 battle. How about using that same timer whenever a battle is XvX so that any even sided battle would lock after the timer ran out. This would give outnumbered ships a chance for re-enforcements but provide more fair and fun fights. It would also reduce the reliance on having a full group of six.

A Trinity is in general more than enough to kill an 8-fleet. Sailing straight into them a 2nd Rates takes clearly more damage than a 1st, but this can even be an advantage if you have Desperate Shot skilled.
Maybe the 8 fleet is the wrong point to decide what ship to get. If you overall think you earn your cash pretty fast save for the 1st. Also if you want to kill 12 fleets fast save for the...

Gundeck needs to be 24 pounders, ridiculously low damage for such a price.
Next patch needs to buff obsolete ships...Cap Heavy needs more armour than
the MC, Tigre's need 3.2k sail integ, SMH needs 15 pounders and CMC needs
24 pounders.
