Korakukan is a rustic minshuku next to Jigokudani Yaen Koen with an onsen. Yudanaka has a number of public baths. Nozawa has a dozen or so public baths. Shiga Kogen also has a number of onsen in the area. Matsushiro has a spa. Nagano City provides the following info: http://www.city.nagano.nagano.jp/pcp...TENTS_ID=10 796

I just sent two bags. One small, one very large (62 inch bag). Tokyo to Osaka. It was 30,000 yen total. I think the split was 10K/20K. Just have the address of your hosts house ahead of time and you'll be fine. As far as best? No idea. I usually use the service affiliated with Yamato, which is the biggest. You can look up the services on the Airport website.

In case the OP isn't familiar with the place names, virtually all of the points listed above are either in the far north or up in the mountains. True autumn color season in the more tourist-accessible locations generally isn't until November.

Spent 4 nights here this past week. The plusses: Located close to the airport, a EUR 13 taxi ride. Even with my limited German and my driver's non existant English, saying "Am Seestern 16" met with the reply "Courtyard?". Located on three bus lines and right at the end of the light rail that serves downtown Dusseldorf. A 2 mile, pleasant walk from the Altstadt ...

Interested in member opinions on the best European gateway cities - ones where there are plenty of reasonable flights and/or travel option to other EU countries. Looking to book some r/t award tix to a gateway city next year, with travel to other EU areas between inbound and outbound flights. Just don't know specifically where I'll be going as of yet. Suggestions?

Many dates available . Keeping the details at a minimum to prevent leakage, but the savvy traveler should be able to find the fare.

We registered with Starwood Hotels Honey Money program for our wedding registry. We were guaranteed, many times during the planning of our wedding, by a Starwood Representative and the terms and conditions on their website listed below that the Honey Money gift certificates were as good as cash at any Starwood Hotel. We booked our Honey Moon to Europe for Aug 1th –13th. When we arrived in Rimini...

Celebrating their 100th anniversary you can sign up for a chance to get their hotels cheap. Rooms can average USD 500-2000 per night at these places, so it's worth a shot for most of us. See http://www. lhw.com/1928_SIGNUP.aspx?ext=1928 for details. Maximum of two nights (per person, or per email? or per email/CC?) at USD 19.28 per night (exclusive of taxes, vat or other ...

I searched and was not able to find anything about this. Wasn't sure where to post, but since S. P.A.M. is alternative points and miles, I thought this was definitely the place to start. I stumbled on this strictly by accident, but the bottom line is, you can play various games (word search, etc). and earn tickets that will allow you to convert to up to 2,500 miles at a time on the ...
