None lost for me. The only people I'm having a problem with are some right-wingers who keep talking about "Obama's failures," as if (1) this was true, (2) the Republicans would have done any better, and (3) none of the current mess was the responsibility of Bush. They seem to get quite upset when I say, "no thanks," to their Kool-Aid.

If seals are to blame for the decline in stocks, their population would be affected by the crash in cod stocks - it hasn't been so QED seals are not responsible. It's just...

I'll add a couple. Everything else being equal, a hamburger will always be MUCH better with multiple thin (1/4 inch) patties than one thick one. Cold cereal MUST be eaten with a large (soup) spoon. It is impossible to attain the correct milk-to-cereal ratio per bite with a teaspoon. For this reason, I rarely ever eat cereal ...

Looks ok. Similar to many other itineraries that have been critiqued here in the past. Day 6 looks a bit packed. Maybe skip Nara. Spend the extra day visiting Miyajima, near Hiroshima. Same for Day 9. Fuji, Hakone, Kamakura (starting from Osaka) is going to be whistle-stop.
