So yet another kick to the dead horse. Are Galloup's flies even really copyrighted? No one has answered if the big box fly suppliers actually even submit copyrights to the office??? And also food for thought; guys like Bob Clouser( and there are many other's Stalcup, Barr, Rickards, etc) have their own sites selling their patterns, but yet you see the Clouser minnow, barr emerger etc... all over internet hell being sold and no one...

I'm a sucker for fly tying vises. I have an old Renzetti presentation that has a great patina on it, a couple of old HMH's, etc. One of my favorite acquisitions is an old Wheatley fly box that was marketed by Abercrombie and Fitch. It has a very nice old copper A&F logo--makes me wonder what a cool store that used to be before the metrosexuals took over!

i don't see the problem with it. i think copyright only affects the
original version. there is always going to be little variations to all
original ties. actually i have no clue what i'm talking about...... just my
thoughts

Carp have always been in the Webe. There are also suckers in the Weber as
big as your carp and they like to hit zoo cougars. P.S. your carp has a
rather ugly snout even for carp standards! lol

my situation with working for a fly shop in westyellowstone this year dramaticly improved my days on the water and i easily put over 100+. garth and bugeye can attest my fishing skillz improved 100% as well and i can now keep up with them.
