He made the right call, and now all of his pax and an untold number of people on the ground are alive today because of it. Sully is good press...

I've had the same problem intermittently today. Also having trouble displaying earth view on the maps. Don't know if the two are connected.

I have never quit anything in my life that I really wanted to do but today, after 9 + hours I have had enough of this arrogant instructor. Nothing I do is right. For example today, I taxied either too fast or too slow, 3000 feet doesn't mean 3005 or 2995 feet. A heading of 130 doesn't mean 131 or 129 no matter how much wind you have or how hot it is. Let's see, gotta hear the thump thump ...

A passenger enjoying a civilian joyride accidentally cut the trip short when he ejected himself from the plane after grabbing the eject lever while trying to brace himself.
The passenger was flying in a Pilatus PC-7 Mk II with an air force pilot friend, The Daily Mail reported.
He was instantly blasted 320-feet into the sky by the rocket-powered chair, before floating to the ground with an...

Well according to google earth anyway. the last few times it has been changed only 1 plane was there. I also read that he was upgrading the avionics in the 707, not sure what that means, might only be adding a new gps database for all i know.
