Hopefully because I am taking my laptop and most likely will be able to download some tomorrow night and post them. The bf is bringing his video camera and he's got a "drackberry" and takes pix with that.

(growls) Holidays heerrruummph! I am begining to think I am jinxed on holidays. Fathers day - Danny shows hoofscald/rot because the ground has been so wet and will not use that leg or hoof. Imagine wreastling that 200 lb casterated goat to medicate that. Mind you them horns are no picnic either. Then Hailey the 15 year old goat injures a shoulder, possibly broken and Vet has to come out on a holiday. Rebel almost dies and I have to run him to...

I must say, I'm very fortunate - all of the people I've met because of this group have done nothing but made my life richer. I thank you all, and I especially want to recognize those who have become a mentor to Sarah. Thank you all, Smoochies to the Poochies Cindi

Sandra,
I am sure the Creator will guide the perfect dog to you. It is too bad that Oscar did not work out. But you know in your heart what you need and want and I think that if you trained the dog yourself you will get exactly what you need in a sevice dog.

I drive a small SUV and have the back seats laid down for poodleville (my 2 spoos). They have seat belt harneses for safety especially on highway trips. If this is not an option, somewhere I have seen rigid square "pillows" that fit between front and back seats to give the furry kids more seat space in the back. This is something like what I was thinking.

Was it another Flickr group? did they give you credit for the photo or was it posted as if it were theirs?
There are probably hundreds of other poodles sites, the internet is like a wide and deep ocean, and we know how much our spoos love to splash around!

I would say that you will need a can of pam spray or booties or just for the winter time not to shave his feet.
A shaved foot is exposed to sharp ice shards, oil from cars, antifreeze, salt.
All of these things are corrosive, are usually licked off as the paw/paws warm up and can set to small burns in the inner skin of the paw pads.
An unshaved paw and a spray of Pam (top and ...

You have a nice camera, show us a picture of this dog. Was not aware you had a third poodle before/or after your move. Sorry, I'm not really understanding clearly.

This answer is so easy.
Many of you mention that after a grooming session you see ear problems with the dogs. It is not the plucking that is causing that...the groomers are not putting cotton balls in the ears at bath time.
The ear canal of a dog is deep and 'L' shaped and the water gets down there and starts perculating into a big yeasty mess.
I have worked in grooming salons ...
