thank u very much saydirect for such a wonderful thread. now the situation in dubai is that 1000D with 14-55mm lens + 2gb+ carrying case + 1 year warranty is available in 2400 aed and 450D is available in 3300aed with same accessories. wondering if i should buy it from Lahore in my nex visit?

Thanks for your comments Aamir. Btw, I could not find a way to get quicker shutter speed in Av but 1/8sec, whereas auto mode has 1/60 sec shutter speed for the same subject and at the same coordinates under same lighting conditions.

They are one of the best and most reputed camera stores. No, camera equipment is not custom free you have to pay 15% of total value of package i.e Price of Gear + shipping. ( About 6months ago it was 15%)
