what do you expect when priority for hiring is given by race. you get a bunch of dumbfucks. But of course we can't be expected to hire on the basis of merit.

Meh - get rid of the 2x TC too. And I like the plan to keep the Adaptall lens as reminder - but can't you still get a nice chunk of change out of it?

Yeah, and I'll ask about Bronica wide-angle lenses when someone gives me a Bronica body. Which has still to happen, unlike with the Mamiya ;)

Definitely what I would have if I hadn't bought the AFD 35mm before G one existed on price alone if not for the 3rd of a stop improvement. Even if I did plan to go FF I would get the G lens if I lacked a 35mm because not only is it my most often used focal length, but I would rather buy and sell the 1.8 and wait for a FF 1.4 AFS than spend nearly twice as much on the AF-D (this all presumes new pricing but you get the idea).

I've just quit NDLC. if anyone asks outside the group, it's because I don't shoot digital anymore, I like to travel by planes. FYI only, I couldn't wait to be banned, just too many idiots, it's not even funny anymore.

Thanks TSA . You're a bright shining beacon of intelligence. Glad the "terrorist" didn't hide explosives in his pants, otherwise there'd be a strict "No Pants" rule. -waitaminute…

Olympus OM mount by the looks of it. The Tokina 70-210 is handy.
You can get an adapter for your EOS that will allow you to use them...

I don't really get the focal length but then I'm odd. 40mm on 135 has its adherents but on DX?
I like the size of that thing, though. Pentax does some cool stuff.

as posted in other thread, I never tried 55 so I can't tell. I don't think you'd like 45 because, although lens is tack sharp from corner to corner, it does provide barrel effect as bonus. also, if barreling is getting on your nerves that much, my best suggestion is to find a decent copy of Carl Zeiss Jena 50/4 Flektogon and use it with P6 to M645 adapter ( www.flickr.com/search/?w=all...

1) They never pay off.
2) They never pay off and cartridges are much expensive.
3) Cartridges never pay off and recharging cartridges never works out well.
4) Finding a good priniting agency and doing test prints to calibrate your monitor to their output levels and contrasts and saturation is really worth it once you nail a good agency.
5) Inkjets never pay off ...

indoors, poor daylight, long exposures... about 8ft from target (a tapestry wall-hanging... plenty of detail on one plane)
PS... the 80-200 at the 105mm setting shoots more like 110mm compared to the 105... or the 105 shoots short, maybe, who knows :-)

Sounds like a bastard of a task but with some nice rewards. I've been looking at scanners and leaning towards an Epson flatbed. The V500 should probably serve you well. Nick has a type, if I recall correctly, which he's pleased with and I think can be had reasonably cheap.
