We do have a thread here with a tutorial for blending Sam www.flickr.com/groups/itsanaddiction/discuss/721576228507... This is something I have never done a tutorial for, but I feel it is the most important part of an edit. I always adjust brightness, contrast, levels, curves, color balance. I use the pen tool to cut out & feather the edge (about 0.5-0.7) Also use the blur tool around the edges if you still have that 'stuck...

You're right, this one is very addictive! I noticed there are not as many "doll" images of men, so I thought I'd try this on one of the Instructors where I teach and transform him into a space alien. I'd like to report that the tutorial works well for this as well (just needs a little hue/saturation adjustments when you're done). I expect reprisals.... lol. There are new features in PS CS4. The new Adjustments and Masks Panels make editing easier. The dodge, burn, and sponge tools have also been reworked.

This is a good tutorial and an easy one to make. I had to make some changes to get the see through Globe. I left the shadow off, because in my photo, the shadows are behind the furniture.

I'm really enjoying this effect. It can do so much to portrait. I've added quite a few images today but I think it's a good selection to give you an idea of what kinds of images you can use. Nearly all of the source images I got from DeviantArt so if you don't have any pictures to use on your computer try there. Remember to look for at least a full head shot and if you can get some...

I admit, I didn't even read the tutorial on this one. I just looked at the finished picture, then did my own thing to duplicate what I saw. These are my grandchildren, with my daughter in the middle picture.
