I unfortunately haven't had much luck with using a light box either. My favorite still remains using natural light - the best photographs are done next to a window out of direct sunlight, especially on cloudy days. If you check my photos - all of the pictures in the
dollhouse miniatures set are done this way.
The only way I've had success with the light box is using several Ott...

Yeah, I try to keep up with those. Some of the "completed" art you see are images that people have made but want others to use in their art.
It seems that most of the posted of finished art see the words "
Collage Images" but do not see (or do not understand) "NOT FOR POSTING ART" Some are from other countries and even though I explain what this pool is about, keep posting their ...

I have an
hp laserjet...CM1017...I like it...but only for use on regular weight paper...it does have issues with printing on cardstock, which I do frequently. That gets frustrating!
